I have undermined business and health going hand in hand but you continue to inspire me Dr. Greg! Perhaps many solutions and answers lie in us just trying and networking till we find able supporters or partners.

Great video! "Don't be afraid to fail...Believe in your idea!" If you don't believe in your idea no one will. Keep the videos coming! I really appreciate your videos along with Dr. Racaniello Podcast/KZbin Channel because they give me the drive to keep pushing to achieve my career goals of become a vaccine researcher. I learn so much that will help me as an aspiring infectious disease vaccine researcher. You both do an amazing job!

Thanks Dr Greg for this video. I do have an idea and will like to discourse it with you. Its about making Dr and nurses available at rural, hard to reach areas in Nigeria as volunteers. Don't know how to go about this.

Thanks for the comment Emmanuel Benyeogor Its a great idea and I wish you all the best for it. Starting a new project can be hard and I suggest that as a first step you try to identify stakeholders who would be interested in working with you (or collaborating with you) on this venture. Getting support and buy-in is extremely important. To do this, you'll need to have a very clearly defined vision and you can communicate easily. Once you have enough people interested in your project, you're half way there. I hope that this helps! Good luck

Can an MPH help an entrepreneur with a global health startup or would that specific degree be a waste of time?

It looks like Google Hangouts was discontinued. I was trying to see if I could schedule a time to speak with you, but to no avail. I know you must be very busy, but if there's another way to set up some time to speak with you please let me know. Thank you for posting these videos!

Mr Martin, Does it matter if I go to online school or school on campus for my MPH? Some people say online school is not good! can you suggest me some schools please most preferably without GRE! I am currently working as a Registered Nurse in the States! Thank you for all your wonderful videos!

Hi there j shrestha - great question. Doing an MPH though an online program is fine (but it isn't easy). I did my MPH full time but my MBA through distance learning and found it quite tough. But it can be expensive to take a year off to study and so sometimes online or part time study is necessary (I understand). Re choosing a school - take a look at this webpage which may offer some guidance. www.careersinpublichealth.net/schools

My dad is looking for a job in public health. he has a masters in maternal and child health and he is a doctor. He worked as a physician for many years in Pakistan. Now he plans to settle in United States. He is already here but we are not sure where to start from. It would be great if there is anything you can help out with. Thanks !!!!

Thanks for the message. Given that your father is both a doctor and has a masters degree (with years of experience), I'm quite sure that he'll be able to add a lot of value to a large number of organisations. I"m in the thick of putting together a series of 4 videos on finding work in global health. The first three are already here on KZbin. The final one will be posted soon. Here are the ones that I have so far: 1) Identifying your area of interest kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXqve5Rrj9SihtU 2) Understanding your role kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXqve5Rrj9SihtU 3) Developing skills and competencies kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmfQmJuQoruDosU
