im 25 years old and bright eyes has been my favorite band since i was 12. i thought i would never get the chance to hear a bright eyes song for the first time again in my life (after people's key dropped when i was 17)-- but somehow, this song escaped me. i was doing pretty badly today; trauma and melancholy were weighing very heavily on me. i stumbled upon this and am filled with joy with a pleasure i thought i would never experience again: hearing a bright eyes song for the first time. i feel so much lighter. thank you.

This is by far my favorite song by Bright Eyes. So beautiful, so moving, just wonderful in every way. This song makes me feel so sentimental and emotional. The way he crafts the words to flow so well is a work of a pure genius. I love you Conor Oberst :) The best lyricist we have seen since Bob Dylan.

I love Bob Dylan, I have all his albums from the 60's and 70's, and they are great. The same for Leonard Cohen, who at his best is just so beautiful. I think Conor Oberst dances at the same level, and may be better than both of the great masters.

Not better but given another 15 years he certainly could be. I've been lucky enough to see Dylan 52( and i have every album and bootleg) times, Cohen 3 times and Connor Oberst 9 times. He is by far a better performer and musician than both of them.

This song seems like it wasn't written by a human being, it seems like it's in its own category, it's its own world, it's its own universe, its own life. It's so beautiful it's unbelievable, the way it makes me feel is beyond words.
