Dude! 8:19 in the video!! LOL Love the shirt too! I bought one off your store a couple of weeks ago, and while wearing it while walking around, had another VIP stop to read the shirt. It’s SO relatable. Thanks for all you do Sam.

I’m totally blind as well and I just love the detailed reviews that you do on products and applications. Be sure that you do one on glide.

Great Vid as always. I've been using the Seeing AI app quite a bit. I really enjoyed your response to the description of that particular brown! Thanks for not editing that out!

This app is amazing, I had an Orcam tested yesterday and I can see why that is really useful, but this is a great application of tech that most of us already own. It is difficult to say which is better as the hands free and stand alone nature of Orcam has some major advantages , but, since this is free now, or at least it is at the moment on Android, that is a major advantage. Thank you for bringing it to my attention!

Nice, I need to try this app again since recording my video. I have a bit more trouble recognizing different things when recording mine. That color description though was pretty great. I’m still chuckling. Hahaha

what is writen on your shirt third line, after: ‘i can see but i cant’?
@theblindlife2 жыл бұрын
It says " I can see but I can't, # It's Complicated" (though the last line doesn't have any spaces in it, I put them in here in case you are using a screen reader.)

Thanks for the video, always nice to hear about something new coming to Android. An app I use from time to time on my Android phone is 'image analysis toolset (IAT)' it works quite well depending the situation. maybe you can take a look at it. it's free as far as I could find out until now

Lol, I don’t think I did anything special, I don’t remember. I would just make sure you’re talkback and other accessibility apps are fully up-to-date.

Hi, can i ask you, what is the vocalizer that you use in this video?
@theblindlife6 жыл бұрын
The majority of the video uses the regular voiceover on iOS. The other voice is the Envision app it’s self.
@bootechnology67016 жыл бұрын
What name of vocalizer you use on your ipad in this video i mean? The voice before you open the app

Will it be working only on internet or offline also like Seeing ai
@theblindlife6 жыл бұрын
Just like seeing AI, some features work on Internet and saw work off Internet.
@Hirza.Barizi6 жыл бұрын
I am wondering why Seeing AI is still unavailable on my region's AppStore. Like what day are waiting for? I assume they are working on languages. But it likely never happened before for a developer to not launch their apps due to language availability reason to a region. Not sure though.
@theblindlife6 жыл бұрын
You should make sure that it’s just not showing up because you have a filter turn on. If you’re searching on an iPad then it doesn’t show up because it’s technically not supported on the iPad. If you click on the filter in the top left corner and change it to iPhone only then it will show up in that list. If that doesn’t work then you may be right, it might not be supported in your area yet.
@Hirza.Barizi6 жыл бұрын
@@theblindlife I will let you know if that works. I am not on my iPhone at the moment.

When this app will be available on Android Play Store please tell me
@EnvisionAI6 жыл бұрын
Hi Musheer, the app is already available as an Android Beta version. You can go ahead and download it. The developers are currently working on making it available offline. At this moment, instant text recognition and color detection for Latin based scripts is working offline for iOS. I hope this answers your questions.

Hey Sam, does this work for Facebook . As in can it be run over Facebook so someone could read posts or would you point a tablet at the computer to read Facebook posts?
@EnvisionAI6 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes, you can point your smartphone or tablet on any screen and Envision will read out for you whatever it sees. That includes your computer screen.

I had a meeting with the Seeing AI team last week and brought up this topic once again. They are working on it. In the meantime, the Envision AI APH is available on android and has many of the same features as seeing AI.

At least the barcode reader actually detects barcodes, not like the super sense that doesn't even detect a barcode, and yet I had to pay for the disservice? This is so much better? I wonder how much the glasses for this app are? Super scenes sucks.
