there's more to that, the rear glass placement is the key, real eotechs has its rear glass deep inside the hood, but not the replicas

dont get me wrong its very easy to tell because the fake ones you can see the red dot in the sight but i have a fake eotech that i willingly bout with the magnifier and it works good enough on my 300 blackout and it hasnt lost zero and ive shot about 1000ish rounds

Eotech is to overpriced. The only reason it cost alot is for the NV setting and 90% of eotech owners dont even use it. I bought the AA version when the was first coming popular now I just run a acog now that I realised the eotech isn't all that

Eotech is literally just over priced for no reason, the only thing that good about a EO is the fact it had a NV setting, other than that its pretty basic, a trijicon acog is alot better and actually worth the money

Don't forget the hood, the counterfeit hood is usually straight while the authentic one is curved

Not true anymore. All the counterfeits are identical in shape and size. The only way to tell is the LED bulb + the retention cable on the battery cap.

@@DeimosPC Well I can tell an authentic Eotech when I see one, such as the glass, the glass is on the fake is very reflective while the authentic one is not, and when you look into the glass itself the authentic one will have a curve on top. Secondly the glass on the rear is not sticking out on the authentic one while the fake one is. Third, the fake one's buttons won't make that click noise when you push it. And finally, the fake one will obviously feel cheap compared to the authentic one

@@DeimosPC And when it comes to the holes where the adjustments are on the hood, the fake one is slightly smaller compared to the real one which dimensions are bigger, speaking of adjustments, the fake one's will feel loose and won't make those clicking noises like the real one. My bad for making this a essay haha, I just had to put it out there

I'm sure u guys saw Cav Trooper 19D eotech video on the best eotech exps3-2. It is by far the best eotech vid I've ever seen. That guy really breaks down the useage. I bet he's solely responsible for the increase in eotech purchases in last few months. U guys should work w him more often. Plus current Captain in the army but u guys know that.

Yea counterfeit products are bad and all, but when you guys sell them for 600$+ and they sell the counterfeit that does the same thing at the lower price, I’m gonna buy the lower prices one and figure it out for myself. The only reason you guys charge so much for your holographic sights is because you are name brand. I’m certain that it takes like 50$ in materials to manufacture that sight. It’s kind of like how Nike is outrageous in price because they are name brand, you guys are name brand of the gun world.
