Still the best explainer in 2023 for overview basics to set up a personal overview. Highly recommend watching this if your brain melted trying to work it out on the fly and absolutely killed your current overview like I did lol. 💯

At this point, for anyone following along, you made a Ship preset in an earlier video which also included scanner probes. In case someone is following along and get's that "Do you want to override?" screen when you said there wouldn't be one. Great Videos far!

Why on earth are there both tabs and presets? Why can't the tabs just be the presets? Yes you could end up with a huge number of tabs but if you can only show 8, you could just have a pull down to select different sets of tabs. Just like exporting and importing. I think it's been said before that this is the weakest part of EVE. It looks to me like some things need to be saved, like Presets and Overview Settings but Appearance and Ships don't. How does that make sense? In Import or Export, what is the significance of the "check all" box?
