your videos are the best for a noob like me that has been curious about Eve Online since 2005, but was always too intimidated to dive in after SWG NGE ruined my favorite mmo.

Hi!... SWG? NGE? Can you please explain the meaning? :)

Nice vid mate, but don't forget overheating should always be an option, can get you back out the gate if you land in a camp, out of tackle range or keep you on grid long enough to kill that last pesky rat on a site or a low sec belt :)

That nanite repair paste is also very useful for work.

Thank you for the videos, I know you may have moved on but, but after a long break from Eve due to getting burnt out in Null, I have come back and really want to get into solo PVP big fleets are fun and all but want to try the lone wolf or maybe small pack in time, its nothing crazy but last night I got my first kill in factional warfare, in large part thanks to your great videos!

Maybe I missed it, but you can also overheat the whole rack instead of just one module, right?

gracias!

Do you cause damage if you only pulse activate a module, i.e. run the overload condition for only one cycle?
@huntingfighteroramara3 жыл бұрын
You only damage directly adjacent online mods though, not the whole rack, the only reason that scram got damaged was cos the web got offlined through burning out. That's why you don't want to have two mods next to each other that you heat a lot (or one you really need adjacent to two mods you heat a lot)

Ok, I know this topic is old but I do have a question. Can you use nanite repair paste while you are overheating? Will it slow down the damage?
@NewbEden3 жыл бұрын
No. IIRC the module needs to be off before you can repair it. The best way to slow heat damage is to train Thermodynamics to V, and you can also space out your modules across a slot to act as buffers. ie: don't put two modules right next to each other that may both need to be run heated.
@gabrote423 жыл бұрын
7:52 As you can see, way, WAY cheaper to use a repair facility. Always do that if low on cash or if it's not inconvenient
