In shadows deep, they hide their fears,
With masks of laughter, smiles, and cheers.
Their insecurities kept out of sight,
Concealed behind a facade so bright.
They wear a cloak of confidence,
But inside, they're filled with turbulence.
Their true selves buried deep within,
Fearing judgment, afraid to begin.
They paint a picture of perfection,
To shield themselves from introspection.
But behind the mask, they silently yearn,
For acceptance and love in return.
So let us be kind and understanding,
For beneath the surface, hearts are demanding.
To be seen and accepted as they are,
Without the need for a mask or a disguise so far
