You two are such great inspiration. The dream of cruising-and the love for it that can follow later, almost always begins with complete ignorance of sailing. It is simply very overwhelming that there is such a diversity of knowledge that you initially realize that you’re lacking. The trick is to think of those salty veteran sailors that make it seems so easy is like public speaking and imagine audience in their underwear. No matter how polished and accomplished those sailors appear to be, remember, they began knowing NOTHING-until either someone helped teach them or they learned through struggling and failing, repeatedly!! The daily opportunities to fail or make a mistake are about 100 times the rate of living onshore. If you make 95 good decisions in a day, early on, the only thing you remember are the 5 mistakes. No sailor alive has never made a “rookie” mistake, and breathed a sigh of relief it didn’t cost them their boat or their lives. But every day you’ll live alive and focused-on the beauty as well as the challenges. You’re *living* more every day aboard than on autopilot ashore. Remember learning to drive a car and how foolish you felt every time you made a mistake while surrounded by drivers who made it look easy? And yet you’ve been driving a 5th wheel rig thousands of miles these last couple years. You are fortunate enough to have a chance to reinvent yourselves-I love your enthusiasm and your partnership. THANKS for having the courage to show the world as you learn!

Guys, stay strong I'm feeling for you both thank god you're a great team together. I'm sure there isn't a person out there watching you wanting you to get a win. Lessons learnt I'm sure you can write a book on. Thanks for sharing.

Don’t give up. Takes a while to sort out issues. Cruising is taking the food with the bad You have a lot of systems onboard which have not been used for a while.

It’s true, there is a lot going on for this boat that has been neglected for a long time. One step at a time, right!?😊

is that bilge pump flow rate at zero head? height of the outlet effects the rate from what I've read.

That’s a great question! We’ll have to look into it.
