If you have the chance, and want a beach with no rocks. Go to El Cuco, El Espino, Las Flores these are in San Miguel/Usulutan. Costa del Sol in La Paz, El Palmarcito la Libertad and even where you started San Blas it is not bad, but not what you were interested in, blessings from san sal!

@@SurfandTurfTravel The only white Sand beaches we got in the country are located in Salinitas,Son Sonate.El Salvador the most popular is Los Cobanos Beach ok hope you like it if you come back to the country one Day is not to develop around but is not to bad the Beach is beatifull color of the water too and the sand is white the only one we got the other beaches are Black because of the volcanic erupción in history in the country make almost all our beaches with Black sand because of the lava etc some Beaches throug the year been changing a litle the sand color is not to dark like the ones you guys visit blessing guys come back soon and keep discovering

El Salvador has more than 45 beaches some of my favorites are Playa Los Almendros, Los Cobanos, Salinitas, La Costa Del Sol, La Puntilla, La Bahía de Jiquilisco, El Espino, Icacal, Maculis, El Jaguey, Las Tunas, El Cuco, El Esteron, El Zapote, locals love El Majahual, and La Barra De Santiago

@@SurfandTurfTravel Yes its the Sad part that govertment dont promote the other Best beautifull beaches like the ones you guys visit because La libertad is close to San Salvador thats why are more important for them also the plan of Surf City the govertment have and the waves are the Best in the country to surf the other beaches are beautifull but lets develop and are more relaxing beaches to family etc not for nithg life just Day time fun and get in contact with Mother nature

The beaches of La Libertad department in general are surfer beaches with lots of rocks, big waves and deep. From Playa El Majahual to Playa San Blas is probably one of the few stretches of sandy beaches in that part of El Salvador.

Los cobanos is a sandy beach as well, but best sandy beaches are in Usulutan, San Vicente, San Miguel y La Union. You will even find beautiful beaches without waves

I definally recomment you Hotel Los Mangos 🥭 El Cuco San miguel too.Its paradise for People who want a very nice view to the ocean and natural enviroment quiet Beach perfect for couples is very romantic Beach there private not develoment around ok have that clear but one of the most beautifull for me with Las Flores 💐 Beach which is close to the town El Cuco dont worry about surfing and caves because you will find it there 100./. Next time go discover Also hotel Maribel El Jaguey Beach La Union a very romantic spot with spectacular views to the Fonseca Golf Honduras and Nicaragua in the far very recomment is far from the capital but beautifull and closer to San Miguel the major City in the región where you can find anything you guys want anything

I tried to make it to El Tunco and El Zonte because they're so famous, but we didn't have time to make it there. We did go to some beautiful sandy beaches in Sonsonate ⛱️. I hope you found something similar because the water was amazing. I can't wait to go back to El Salvador

Hey guys go to Metalio, Los Cobanos, casa Garrobo, Roca Pelicano, El Ancla .. anything in the Salinitas beach area is nice So is San Blas stop by Rest Bello Sol Have fun next time around

You should have gone to playa San Diego. It’s got pretty, tan colored sand and no rocks. And a surf instructor who I met there told me that the waves there are ideal for beginners because they are more mild, where as a beach like playa tunco has bigger, more aggressive waves which are preferable to more skilled surfers. Its only a 10 minute drive away from thf nice restaurants and attractiions of Surf City/Tunco.

@@SurfandTurfTravel Yes those 2 are one of the Best but less develop than the ones you guys visit but the sun and escenery is better beautifull Also Las Flores Beach in Chirilagua, San Miguel and El Jaguey Beach recomment you Maribel Hotel in El Jaguey Beach La Union , its beautifull the view you can see Honduras and Nicaragua in the far from there and Las Flores Beach San Miguel recomment you Vista Las Olas Hotel and Miraflores hotel and hotel Miramar .

“That’s not it” for sand beaches. The central ones are rocky, and are popular because they are close to San Salvador. Go east or west of them for sand beaches.

I, As a Salvadoran get f**kin' aggravated to watch videos of people going to visit such a pile of rocks and promote it as a tourist destination. El Salvador has really beautiful beaches starting with Garita Palmera which borders with Guatemala, Barra de Santiago, Metalio, etc...It is mind-buggling for me to see the goberment investing in el tunco/zonte when there are so many other places with nicer natural atractions which are only known only to locals.

These are most definitely NOT the best beaches in El Salvador for swimming, they're only surfer beaches. Best sand swim beaches are located on south east side of El Sal from San Miguel coast to La Union, like playa El Cuco. 🌊🌴🥥

are you guys really only buying a coffee to use their internet? thats actually really bad for them, youre just exploiting them by not paying taxes and using their utilities :(

they were completely empty so we were the only customers who made their day and on the top of it we bought like 12 coffees for beach cleaning crew. Plus I'm pretty sure they have unlimited internet so I'm not sure how we were using their utilities that were included to service. Its the only restaurant that we have visited who were unhappy with our order.

Playa Amatecampo is awsome! And is the closest to the airport! 20 min ride. Is in la Paz .

el salvador is not known for nice beaches, it doesn’t have any good beaches.
