Good lesson, however I was disappointed you didn't suggest the connection between the 12 year old daughter and the woman with the issue of blood 12 years - coincidence(?) of mother and daughter since the miracles occurred in such close sequence. Jairus showing such faith and a wife(?) that shows the same faith. I guess it's too easy to suggest the simple story of a family of faith.

I struggle to make that connection. In Luke’s account, Jesus tells the woman with the issue of blood to “Go in peace,” suggesting that she then left. In Mark’s account, the damsel’s mother seems to have been with her while Jairus ran for Jesus (Mark 5:40), not just arriving because she was recently healed.
