Ep. 2 - Cleaning & prepping the VR6 & Installing S&P Automotive swap mounts | Cali MK1 Part 2

In this episode I clean nearly 30 years and 150k miles worth of grease, grime and oil off of the engine. Messy work for sure and no easy way to do it. Using a combination of engine degreaser, brake clean, brushes, shop towels and scrapers, it came out pretty good! PSA if you’re doing this yourself, do it in a well ventilated area and use some PPE (gloves/eye protection). These cleaners are nasty! Once the engine was clean, I bolted on the new LUK clutch and bolted the transmission back to the engine, and started bolting on some of the S&P Automotive swap kit; engine & transmission mounts, and cable clutch actuator.
