I have started reading from the beginning and each morning before I start work I read before I start my day. I deleted IG and Facebook, and the extra time I have, I now read my Bible. I heard a wise pastor, Stephanie Ike say when you read and you don't understand something, ask God to help you understand it. What blew my mind is he will show me in a dream or my pastor will bring that very verse up on Sunday. When it first happened, it shocked me now I just feel so loved by God that he hears me. I say start from the beginning.

yess i ended up getting an app called the Blue Letter Bible App, it has the original hebrew and greek words in a concordance with the biblical definition of the word.

Read the Greeks concordance, because the bible was originally written in Greek and Hebrew, so many English words the way we mean them is not actually how the bible intends them to be translated. The Greek concordance is the Bible's dictionary, when u use that if there is still a word in the greek concordance that u actually don't know the meaning of, ex. "consecrate" then you use a dictionary. In the greeks concordance 3 words in bible could refer to one thing and one word, can have 3 definitions to help you understand what is meant by it.

Great episode! You chose a great guess. That “Let a man’s character be his currency” had me clapping! Oh and Tony speaking on how he acutually LISTENS to his wife. So many men and husbands lack that humility to admit there wife has more knowledge than them in certain areas. The Bible says submit yourselves to ONE ANOTHER meaning husbands need to take listen to their wives wisdom and submit to her plans sometimes because it could save you a world of trouble and pain.

I can relate to the topic about being a single parent that have been divorced after 13 years of marriage and now in my season of growing my businesses and raising my kids keeps me so busy it’s like I don’t think about dating or have time to date because I am mentally, physically and emotionally tired at the end of the day from being a mother, teacher, business owner, the cook, the maid, Ms fix things around the house, Uber driver (driving kids to practice), lawn maintenance, accountant, counselor (listening to kids talking my ear off about school)…the list goes on and on..lol. But I know that eventually God will bless me with a help mate. He is out there. It’s just not my time to meet him yet.

I 100 percent agree. My fiance (ex as of 3 days ago) attempted to force the submission through disrespect, invalidation and etc. Eventually I had to step back due to him not hearing anything but his own words and unyielding to understand that security and honor would lead to submission, which is not the same as control/oppression. It’s a partnership. He isn’t willing to partner. He wants to be the brains and if his plans don’t work then we can consider mine. 😮‍💨Hurts terribly as we were to marry next month.. yet, some battles are within a person no matter your best effort. I prayed for him/us and did my best, even when talked to crazy at times. I didn’t respond the best at times due to frustration. My heart /ear is listening for God’s plan.

When they were talking about going to McDonald’s on the first date at 34:14, that reminded me of the first date I went on with my husband. He didn’t take me to McDonald’s, but we went to a restaurant of my choice, but he was BROKE. He allowed me to get ANYTHING I wanted and he just got some cheese sticks. Before then, we were talking about how hungry we were and couldn’t wait to get something to eat. I peeped that, didn’t embarrass him, and I paid for the lunch date. Shortly afterwards, he volunteered to go to Iraq because then, he knew he’d have money to take for me and my daughter who was 5 at the time. Just for the little gesture, which was huge for him, during his entire 14 months of deployment, I got $1000 a month for my kindness and not making him feel less than an man for not having a lot of money. I’m EXTREMELY grateful I don’t have the mindset of these young ladies who put together that list. ALL Praises to God is all I can say to that 🙏🏾🙌🏾

So far I’m 28:00 minutes in and I’m loving this open and heartfelt dialogue. The conversation at At 28:00 and a little before is so true to scripture. The reason because we’re seeking after God and not the things of this old world. The word of God teaches us in Matthew 6:33 (kjv) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Glory to God. When we seek God and put him first and foremost in our lives, these other things will find us because our focus has been centered around Jesus Christ. God will bless you with things we haven’t even worked for. I’m a living witness. 🙌🏾
