Thanks 😊 you guys. Everytime I think 🤔 I've learned all I can get out of a chapter/verse. I am humbled by how much more there is. You have helped me learn so much more. God bless you, keep the "meat" coming.

As a Sunday school teacher, I learn so much from your podcasts, especially the chapters that I don’t find too interesting. When I read these chapters, I officially thought it was boring but your insights have helped me go deeper and I have such a more profound appreciation for these chapters. I am noticing more and more that those who I follow for CFM are slowly stepping away from their podcasts. I understand how time consuming this could be and the sacrifices needed to keep podcast like these going, but I am grateful you two are still doing these podcasts. You are blessing me, my class, and many others who follow your podcast. Thank you again!!!

Mormon has always been one of my personal favorite BoM people. When I feel lonely depressed anxious etc I look to him. Imagine seeing everyone you ever loved die and your people destroyed… and yet remaining hopeful!

CUMORA AND KUMRAN= those share kind a close fonetical sound and sacred meaning, not to mention the language acuracy or coincidence but in Qumran has being found some sacred metal plates too .. another point of view wth zoom out ..

Do you have a website with the notes for each video? I would love slides that play while you are teaching just to list where you are reading from (you jump around all over the scriptures), quotes, etc. It’s so hard to follow along-I have to keep rewinding over and over to listen where you jumped to.

Each episode has links to all kinds of bonus material - notes, sometimes charts, images, etc. go to talkingscripture.org - we have lots of stuff there!

I know some of you say Nephi and Lehi were scribes, but where did they learn it? I would suggest that Zoram was their teacher. Zoram was a critical piece of Leh's family's roll out in the Promised Land, even with a wife prepared for him. I might be wrong, but why were the words of Jeremiah updated in the Brass plates if wicked Laban was in charge? Because he had stewards of the sacred plates, and if the steward, in this case, Zoram,, was a believer he was seeking out and including new revelation. I would think that such a wealthy man as Laban, bearer of these sacred, priestly plates, and prominent among the ruling class, might even have had a family line of stewards overseeing these sacred things, maybe even generations. It was common knowledge that Laban had these plates. They were important to the community. I bet the Lord specifically chose to include Zoram in the establishment of the branch of Joseph because of his righteousness. Why else would he cling to Nephi almost immediately and remain his faithful colleague all of his life? And his specific skills writing, compiling, and understanding the plates etc would have been a valuable to Lehi.
