yes, they only thing Maharashtra means only Mumbai, and Areas near to Mumbai Marathwada is most underdeveloped of Maharashtra, Roads & infra is not good, education is not good, govt school conditions is not good, Youth have to go to Mumbai, Pune to find jobs, unemployed youth do not get jobs in Marathwada, no new project or company comes here, most farmers in India commit suicide in this region, Only one part of Maharashtra is developed, no one pays attention here.

In 2012, NMMT Bus No: 123 used to Ply from Panvel Railway station to Mantralaya fully AC bus and always full in both directions in Pick hours. Even people of Best buses used to take it. But some politicians didn't like and diverted it to Kharghar by saying there are not people for it. Later, it got scrapped completely. Intentionally done by politicians to make it lose. Conductors used to say in that buses that in 1 direction, they used to earn around Rs. 7,000/- and sometime it even more. Same happened with ST buses too. They used ply every 5 minutes between Panvel to Dadar and Panvel to Thane and vice versa and even other local areas too. But suddenly some politician changed the management to Vashi and all got down. Now, hardly any buses run on time. I have not seen any ST buses running properly after lockdown. Now NMMT is running AC bus to Bandra from Panvel Railway Station. Only Conductor and Driver knows anyone getting in.

I do not think we should read too much into one election result. Development kept BLP in power for now 15 years. And it has also made a party of 150 seats a party of 240 seats after 10 years of anti-incumbency. So do not underestimate development and power of infrastructure to get middle class and neo-middle class votes. Some infra projects might not benefit everyone like metros or Vande bharat as they are expensive right now. But overall people understand the value of development and that is why they have voted the govt despite 2 years of covid hardships and inflation due to Ukraine war. I like we forget how hard the last 5 years have been for ordinary people due to global headwinds. And please ignore the comments sections, they are mainly bots and most triggered people who are having a bad day.

Also overall price level is high, despite steady low overall inflation. Slow and steady rise not sudden. No doubt it is much better than UPA era but people do have short memories and Modi 1 was quite low inflation.

Another thing to note There is no direct bus service from badlapur/karjat to kalyan. Which means that the crowd from Badlapur going to ambernath/ulhasnagar/kalyan are having no other public transport except local trains. atleast 50,000-60,000 People are there who are from badlapur/ambernath who go to the colleges/offices of ulhasnagar/kalyan due to which means there is extra burden of passengers who are only traveling for short distances this crowd can be easily reduced by adding bus service with 20 min intervals that would benefit so much!!

And I am a general category why should I vote no edu health infra employment safety. Nitish wants 65% reservation rjd want reservation in private also. My district has currently mp of bjp 4 times . Mla congress 2 times we don't have roads here. Every year we have flood. I don't see any of thing to vote. My parents generation has given vote but gained nothing. We are also lower middle class family. We don't get any govt facility because of general category. We can't take ews facilities because for that u have to links in department. I have decided not to vote because i don't get any benifits.

In previous state election bjp has more seats than jdu why they don't they have their own cm. Bjp wins here on name of modi in my district mp is of North bihar where as we are in west bihar. He is from another district. Why no local candidate mp only comes with modi ji to do election campaign. 5 yrs he doesn't show up. 4 times bjp won here why we haven't road yet. Bihar is only for exploiting only railway network smooth so that tons of labourers go and build west and south india. Firstly exploiting by freight equalization policy. When it abolished then break jharkhand. As a general category bihari i haven't got anything from centre or state. So don't get any motivation to vote.

I am not telling BJP is best but if there is MVA government I think maharastra will grow ever slower,projects would be delayed and companies would leave bcz uddhav thackeray,sharad pawar are not that visionary. I know sharad pawar has contributed a lot to pune and especially maharastra but see hinjewadi India's IT hub is in terrible condition. Even ajit pawar is the worst,he doesn't deserve to be CM or even a minister. Pune's guardian minister he not done anything look at Hinjewadi,pune/pcmc highways,planning all in shatters. I wish sharad pawar and BJP should have any alliance(rest all eknath shinde,ajit pawar) ghar baitho bahoot shauk hai na CM banneka. We need sharad pawar who is loyal to maharastra and would not let politics take away maha's industries and economic superiority and BJP who may not be as loyal to maharastra but devendra fadnavis and other BJP politicans will bring stability,will have better support from central and would force BJP to work for maharastra like they are doing for Gujrat. Not a single state govt can compete against Gujarat when it comes to industry friendly policies. Only problem they have is that climate is not friendly for westerners, but that is also changing as cities like GIFT is attracting lot of foreign investors. I believe Gujarat will have a city like Dubai(Business friendly), London(GIFT city for Fintech), Brussels(for Gem & Diamond business) and manufacturing cities in one state.

We Panvelkar seeing the board of Airport from 1980's. Now it is under construction from 2019. Congress UPA Government wasted time in Environmental Clearance in 2008, Mr. Jairam Ramesh. It took 10 years to started construction. Such a huge waste of time and money. Thanx to greedy dynastic politicians.

BJP knows very well that Maharashtra is State which can topple their Government in 2024 Assembly Elections. We have so many missed interchanges with other line eg line 1 and line 4 basically have no interchange and so many important stations have been cancelled due to auto mafia

He was talking about freebies given by Congress and not BJP. This shows his bias, and it was an immediate turn-off for me while watching this podcast. He is too pro-BJP, and he was also talking about instant gratification, saying that people were voting for others because they wanted instant gratification in terms of freebies. But these people don't understand that this was not the reason why people voted against BJP. It's because of the stupid things BJP does, like spreading hate against Muslims and showing authoritarian tendencies while governing. This has been observed by most, and I’m sorry, this is not some Dhruv Rathee effect. That’s the reality. When that is addressed, it will be fine. So please tell your favorite party not to talk about Hindu nationalism but to talk about real nationalism, and they will be in the majority once again.

I disagree with the guest here. People didn't vote for freebies in Karnataka, they voted for Congress because BJP was offering nothing to the people, only asking votes on the basis of religion and nationalism. They did not understand the local issues. Congress localised the elections in Karnataka because of which they won. Their freebies are going to make them lose elections next time.
