Enjoying your videos. I will be on the road in 2025. I learned two lessons from you regarding the theft of the GoPro. 1. Don't leave things out, no matter how remote. 2. Don't let it ruin your day.

This is a great video! I’m from northern idaho there’s a few things in the video I’d love to get a location on if at all possible but if not I understand!

Sid, thanks for watching. I’ve listed some of the Lat/Lon’s in the description section of the video. If what you’re looking for isn’t in the description let me know and I’ll break out the map and help you find it.

Thanks for the awesome video. I live over the border in WA and plan on touring north Idaho next year. It looks like Hwy 38 will be our first journey. What drone do you use? I need to get one. It was a shame about your camera. Also scary that that type of people were that close to your truck.

I hope you love Idaho as much as we did! We drove through northern Washington on our way back from Alaska last month and that looked beautiful. We were hoping to see the Cascade Mountains but avoided the area because of the forest fires. But we will fully visit WA in the future. We fly a DJI Mavic Platinum drone. Only drone I’ve ever had so I have no other comparisons. Yeah, we were sorry about the stolen GoPro, but I guess that’s part of the story we were able to tell. Just a bad hiker, not typical of the other 99% of people. Thanks for watching!

@HaventSeenItYet we have traveled all the major roads crisscrossing WA. I would suggest driving 20 west and 2 east. Hwy 20 is remote and probably the most scenic crossing the Cascades. Only one place to camp. Lake Diablo. You will need to spend at least one day in Leavenworth. Thanks again for the wonderful video.

Thanks for the info, it’s appreciated, Hwy 20 is definitely on our list.

We have a Shadow Cruiser pop up truck camper. Hope you’re able to find some of those awesome places. Thanks for watching!

I'm thinking of getting a pop-up camper like that for my truck before we hit the Idaho trails. It would be nice to have a camper but not the height on trails.

How was fuel availability on your adventure? We are planning a Idaho adventure and curious if there were filling stations on the way? Thanks for sharing.
@HaventSeenItYet2 жыл бұрын
That was also my concern before we went. Our rule was if we get to a half tank, fill up where ever we were. There are plenty of small towns along the routes we were on and we didn’t even come close to having problems. Lots of nice friendly people in those small towns. Have a great time in Idaho and thanks for watching!

My plan is to carry as much fuel as possible. Other videos I've watched said gas can go for $10 a gallon and they might only give you a few gallons, depending on how much they have.

When you encounter another truck on the pass like that isn't it mountain goat rules? That's how the Dodge Ram got it's name, right?
@HaventSeenItYet3 жыл бұрын
I think your right. lol Glad we didn't actually give it a try this time.

Usually, the low vehicle backs down because it is easier for them to do so. Not as easy for the high vehicle to back up the hill...sometimes. Unless there was a turn out on the upper road that the upper vehicle can reach easier.

Very nice video, thanks! So sad about the smoke and your GoPro. Who would have thunk someone would do that out there in the middle of nowhere. Do you folks hail from Michigan? We’ve been following your videos and have seen you on GA’s live chat once in awhile.
@HaventSeenItYet3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind comment! That exactly what we thought about the GoPro. I didn’t even think twice when I left it out overnight. But I guess we will in the future. Luckily they stole the oldest one and we still had another one for the rest of the trip. Yes, we’re from Michigan, the west Michigan area to be more specific. As you can probably tell, we’ve enjoyed Grand Adventures videos. The spot we found in our Idaho episode 2 by the North Fork Big Wood River was because of his previous video we had watched. Thanks again!

@@HaventSeenItYet ....as GA Marc said when his kayak oar was stolen, “provides a reason to get a new one’. It still stinks. We’re near AA (SE Mi). Picked up a truck camper last November. Paths may cross out on the road one day. Keep up the great work!
