Before the Dulles (VA) toll road accepted EZpass, I used to have to carry both VA’s transponder AND NJ’s EZpass. I would have to switch them depending on where I was working…and sometimes traveling through PA/NJ (EZP) to VA (forget what theirs was called). And you couldn’t have them on the windshield at the same time (I tried). If you did, you’d end up getting a letter in the mail saying you skipped out on the toll and owed (plus a healthy “service” fee). I guess the reader couldn’t differentiate between the 2 transponders. I can’t count the number of times I’d approach a toll booth and not have the right transponder on the windshield.

I 100% disagree with you guys about the moving thing. I don't have enough cash to throw around for someone to move me. When I bought my house, we had to move everything ourselves. I asked my best friend to help me move. Not only did he help me move, he also "confiscated" a box truck from his work to help me load everything up. That's love right there. That's as loyal as it gets, a man committing a felony for his bro. Throwing some money around ain't nothing, risking a stint in the pen for a friend, what more can you ask for? I can't F'N stand the ezpass. I miss the toll booths because you can't get screwed over by the toll workers. You pull up, you pay the toll, here's your change (if applicable), life moves on. At least twice a year I have to go to war with ezpass because they took far more than the contracted amount from my card. One time, they took $100 extra on top of my normal bill. Oh and guess what, they can TAKE money off of your card. But they can't put the money back if they take too much. "Oh, we can't refund the money we stole from you, we can only credit your account." Funny how I didn't have this problem when human beings were in the booths. I say bring them back.
