Question : if you’re fishing at a lake going for 8-11” trout , when suddenly a 30” pike takes your fly, now what ? You’re limited in lines , either 1) brake your line , 2) brake your tip , 3) pull your pole into the water what should you do in this case ?

what do you mean by brake? Is this a trick/technique or do you mean break?
