I have been considering hair my hair off (again lol), but I have been on the fence. It's not like I haven't done it before.. however, I am nervous and scared to be honest. But as I sat here and listened to your voice over explaining and I could definitely resonated with myself as well. When I heard you speaking on how liberated you felt it took me back to that same feeling! I then began reflecting on the the attachment I've had to my hair since I was child. How much my hair is connected to my identity. And as a black women our hair is just one of the many physical attributes that is constantly intertwined in topics of conversation..
