Fantastic episode! Entertaining! Informative too. Thanks to Rebecca and Landon for producing and publishing it and Randy and RFM for being guests and sharing their magic, humor and knowledge. Rebecca I appreciate that you listen to feedback and are willing to apply it to your hosting. Appreciate you tempering your enthusiasm enough to let the guests speak without excessive interruptions or commentary.

Had too much personal experience in all the Occult practices, 5 generations from Pioneers, hard not to jump in with it, and all the documented history that correlates together. Whole lot more finally being exposed. Shortly before his death Smith was known to have one of the largest libraries in the West, and said he'd read all the great works up to the Era, in Nauvoo.

That was very interesting to find out Joseph Smith would have been tutored by Hyrum Smith, who had attended the Moor School at Dartmouth College. The 4-year education Hyrum received was geared toward preparing him to be a teacher or preacher.

Oh yeah, and among the other 600 examples of divine magic, don't forget that as the "lamanites" become more indoctrinated/righteous they actually would become "white and delightsome"

I'M GOBSMACKED! I'm late. But Guys, best podcast I've ever seen! So much value to the information. The more we learn logic, and critical thinking, the stronger the foundation we stand on. 'FACTS ARE NOT INSULTS⛈️' (so many quotes in here, in actually going to watch it again!) I think it's absolutely incredible how the difference between white and black magic is the intent. It's mind blowing that even magic's ethics reveal that Intent and consent are what separates the good guys from the bad guys. Rebecca calling Nephi Anderson was comedy gold. Sam Young x 5 made me smile! I love that courageous hero. Miss you Sam! Come back to Utah! RFM, I would join his cult. What's his super power?!! Lol Can't get enough RFM! The Great Randyni! I did not know Houdini was this amazing ethical magician who took down frauds. He's one of my new heros! That's amazing. I see why Randy fell in love with him. But i think it says something about Randy, that this was what drew him to Houdini and magic. And he shares his Houdini booty! I'm heading over to Episode 1587 Mormon Stories for 'the rest of the story!' 😊😊😊😊😊😊

Good comments Rebecca and RFM. Spiritualism abounded in those times and ours. Consider the millions and trillions donated to the 700 club. My Mom's best friend was almost wiped by them after death of only child and husband. Not good speaking for so called religious/spiritual leaders.😮😮😮😮😮😮😮

You lost me at 41 minutes into the episode....I have always hated card tricks but do play a good bridge hand, "War" with my grandkids, but now at age 82 have few opportunities to play strip poker. Houdini's fall out with Doyle was indeed epic. The Popoff revelations of Randi and Banachek were instrumental for putting this Christian snake oil salesman (using the magic word of Jesus) out of business for a while -- but recently he is back in business. I will try again to start from 41 minutes later in the week. I hope you discuss the mindset and props the COJCOLDS (1) has used over the years to gain the same reactions that Popoff and other religious frauds to sustain "faith." Stones in a Hat or wafers and wine are but the tip of the soul crushing iceberg. Footnote 1 - COJOLDS pronounced Coj as in college -- cold as in sneezing. Acronym for Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.
