Imagine being one of Harry’s lifelong friends and finding out you were a seat filler for the service only. The way they treated his lifelong friends was stunning. Their trip back down the ladder is going to be very very painful due to the way they treated people on the way up.

Yes, i find the sharing cosy. Like I have pulled up a chair to have a good chin wag with a close friend. Some of us appreciate it more than others I guess. i’m 50, but shut in from very bad health conditions in the last 7 years and I really appreciate it. You handled it with good grace, humour and class. Time stamp is an excellent solution!

I second this with all my heart. I always feel like I'm with a friend, talking about all sort of stuff, personal and some light gossip, while having a drink. Don't let ANYONE tell you what you should do or not do on your channel. THIS is YOUR virtual home and you must do as you please. You are well mannered, very polite and sweet anyway, you wouldn't offend anyone willingly, I feel that it isn't in your nature. It makes me sad when people laugh about the royal family. All families in this world are dysfunctional to some degree. Imagine being scrutinized by the public and being put under a microscope and talked about as if you are the only family that is dysfunctional. You are constantly under a microscope, a scope for everybody to criticize. People should look at the fact they still work together, play together and are dedicated to their duties together.

That as a non Caucasian it was more difficult bc Filipinos are not like other Asian cultures, especially as a second generation who embraced being American. I think the Woke Culture and jabs at the Globes and other awards they wanted someone very Non-Caucasian. Not considering that is not his thing. Also heard he was only asked to host about 2 weeks prior. In the scheme of things that is last minute. I am sure being good friends with Chelsea Handler she convinced him last minute was better than nothing. Also heard Chris Rock was one of the writers for Jo So glad you enjoy YT for some chat and company. I don't drive currently and am a Mom. We moved to a city close to home but far enough. We did so right before Covid hit. So no one. Nothing. Nada. YT is like Soaps. Background noise at times but "drop everything and take a break" with others. It's the only reason I freak about my cell. No computer to boot. It's hubby's work one so I refuse to touch it. Shauna encourages us to have a cuppa and listen in a way that makes me give myself that much needed break. ❤ From a very blustery Buffalo, NY

Markle relegated her former cast mates to the cheap seats at the wedding, passed them over for the reception and dinner, and then got a new phone with 'A-list only' contacts. No, she definitely wasn't in the Suits thread excitedly texting about the Golden Globe's presentation. She Markled herself in this instance.

Love the gossip before bed, funny enough I am from Botswana and grew up with some of Harry's good friends that live in the small town I grew up in, I have seen him around and even served him once in a restaurant that I was working in at the time. It was when he was with Chelsea Davy they were both quite party animals. My colleague at the time recalls a time Harry was on a boat passing the lodge we worked at and pulled up at the lodge, he was completely pissed, my colleague remembers keeping him away from the other guests who would have recognized him and putting him back on the boat, I think for all his complaining he does he forgets how many people covered up for him.

Unbelievable! First you are criticised for talking about yourself for NINE MINUTES (what a shocking scandal) and then get told off for drinking your coffee! I appreciate what you're saying about Prince Harry and the Sandhurst list however the people who were honored they deserved it they really did their service and who they become is so much different than what Harry is so I agree with the decision to leave Harry out.

So do I. The author had to select 200 people to include out of all those who had passed through Sandhurst. Many others obviously didn't make the cut, either. Perhaps the premise of the book was people who had served and then gone on to a very different, successful career after leaving the military and, thus far, Harry's post-military career can't be called a success.

According to Tom Bower’s book, ‘The Rebel Prince’ Camilla HATED the royal engagements and one of the things she preferred the ‘mistress role’ for, she did what she wanted and didn’t have to deal with the public at all. They started the 2000’s with ‘refining’ Camilla’s role in the public eye so she started small with groups she was interested in, building up her courage. Having the Prince with her, and finding more positive reinforcement than critical remarks that she had imagined, helped her steady her footing.

Another lovely gossip. KCIII is doing a great job as is the much maligned Queen. They have beaten back all the nasty negativity they have faced in the past and become appreciated for their work ethic and appreciated for their genuine love for each other. People can redeem themselves if they work hard...a lesson the Harkles should take to heart. Martin Short, a fellow Canadian, is and always has been, Canadian polite. For the most part, we are polite to the nth degree, one of our best traits. Shauna, do you recall Meghan’s quote on service: “Don’t give it five minutes if you’re not going to give it five years.” Why did she abandon her Royal duties so quickly? I think she GREATLY embellished her global experiences (i.e. Larry King Live interview on her “work” with the U.N. Women Political Advancement for Participation and Leadership, among others). When the Queen appointed her VP of the Commonwealth Trust in March 2019, Meghan knew she would be found out for the fraud she is. She was not qualified for the various leadership roles assigned to her. So she convinced Harry they needed to leave by early 2020. Meghan was out of her depth and she could no longer hide that fact. She also knew Prince William, among others, had well-founded doubts about her integrity. He was proven correct. Rather than learning, working with those who could help her, etc., Meghan played the easy race card. What a pity all around.

It’s kinda funny that ‘Suits’ is getting a ‘resurgence’ because a cast member married into the British Royal Family, but they were relieved to get rid of her because she was such a pain. Which lead to the text to Violet about ‘find me a rich British boyfriend.’ Kinda ironic wouldn’t you say?

i cannot attest to what was or was not taught at military school for Harry, but i know if i were placed in a position of having to "pull the trigger" in a war, the last thing that i would want to focus on would be on the target's humanity, i honestly could not pull the trigger! I have a relative that was a trained sharpshooter in the Marines, and he had "assignments" if you catch my drift, he was told that once he pulled the trigger to close his eyes because the visual of impact on the "target" would be haunting. He could not close his eyes and yes, he was haunted for years. War is an ugly business and the people that start the wars sit comfortably in homes, offices and bunkers while others carry our their dirty work.. Rant over! Hi Shona I love your accent, your pronunciation of Timothy's name reminded me of a Terry Wogan, BBC Radio breakfast show, comment regarding pronunciations regarding sn Australian visitor to Leicestershire. He asked the way to luggerbarugga when he wanted to know the way to Loughborough, pronounced Luffbra. Still makes me chuckle. The joy of the English pronunciation what. LOL

The reason I don’t think Hewitt is Harry’s father is that he resembles Charles too much. Don’t forget that although Hewitt was proved to be a cad and a liar, he tried to sell Diana’s letters and lied and said they were stolen, he was a pleasant looking man with his own hair. Harry has been blessed with Charles’ too close together eyes, almost simian, his mannerisms and the RF’s baldness the same as his brother, and certain other relatives. The Spencers all have good hair. Harry is an unfortunate looking fellow with hair plugs, monkey like eyes and fish lips.

Hi there! If M was invited to the aeards ceremony, she would have made several demands and if not agreed to she would not be there. Harry had made many statements that goes against what the Army and military stand for, for example in Spare he narrates when he almost gave order to fire a missile to the car his father, at the time POW, to kill him. That to me shows his disrespect for Crown and Country. Then you add the other comments and rumors…so what they could said about his accomplishment, to be “Harry Bunker” please that would be a dishonor to the military.

MM was not liked by the crew on suits. They were ignored when they spoke up. The cast were too effusive in their praise at the wedding to be believed. Noone is liked that much. Now we are seeing the truth now that sly comments are dropped by them.

I agree re Suits. I love legal dramas and this one has humour as Mike and Harvey were great together. Gina Torres’ character really was great as well with Harvey as the leads. I felt so sorry for them as well as they kept being asked about Meghan. Gina’s response was the best. We do not want them in Canada. They rob us tax payers every time they come here. I think she should head to Nigeria. She has a Nigerian title they gave her. Let her piss that country off.

I loved the first two seasons too. Excellent writing and the unfolding of the two main characters (the actual 'stars' of the show) was very interesting. How they played those two off each other was really well done. After that I think they got away from the original idea of the show and it just went to Hollyweird mattress acting. Too bad. It was downhill from there.
