When I was at school and taking staff meetings I would remind my staff that it was about FA2D and they all knew that the expectation would be about ‘fine attention to detail’ and you certainly demonstrate that! 😊

@@JodelFlyer thank you, yes I try to sort out the little thing that way the big things tend to fall in place easier. When I taught mechanics, I always pointed out, attention to the small things will keep the car reliable for longer, after the work.

It's all in the little details. You clearly put lots of effort into getting the right parts put together. It feels like only yesterday that you were making ribs. ;)

Thanks Giles, it may seem like yesterday to you but when I look at the amound of dust on them, it appears to be out of the lost ark :-) Time just seems to fly.

An amazing amount of work just for a washer!!! You would have got on well with my Father, he was a perfectionist as well. I have great admiration for you both. Regards Michael

Some simple looking but complex unsung parts you made there. A good way to control the quality of parts.

I don't know why, but that green paint looks really appealing. Reminds me of the color of the Spitfire's cockpit interior.

@@goaway7346 it is the same type of paint, I just had it put into a spray can. I like it though as it reminds me of all the WW2 British aircraft I have looked at.

How did you put the correct angled face on the tool?

@@MattProject the angle is given on the plans so a friend machined it for me on a milling machine.
