My great grand uncle died and is buried in Cambrai , he died in battle in June 2017 , I did visit his grave this year - welldone lads ,great trip

@@Motourev no , presumed it was the battle of Cambrai , he died 4th June 1917 Private Absalom Harrison age 23 ,he was in the highland light infantry which I found strange as he was Welsh

@ first battle of cambrai was Nov-Dec 1917 so he wasn’t in that battle. Message me his details I see if I can find out

Watched most of your vids.i was wondering riding in a group, do you adapted to slowest,inexperienced rider or is it kinda we wil see what happens? Does no not come accros like that but thought ill ask anyway. There are enough vid of group rides where they behave like uther assholes. I know have not seen that in your vids . Before a ride do you set surthen rules. Like thats it and do not f around. Saw some flying past or a wheelie. Am all for that kinda fun as the rest knows a nutcase hase its moment. I tried riding in a group. I geuss i am to stubbern for that ,i cant stant people who do not know the differance between a group excepted fool for 10 seconds and a totale idiot.

@@grumpopzijnmashfifty3109 what works with us is we all know each other so we know our riding skills. With me being the leader I’m responsible that everyone behind me goes home safe that’s my top priority so I set the speed which 99.9% of the time we stick to the speed limit, we might have the odd blast now and again on a straight but generally we are not aggressive riders. Plus all the riders in the team have the same style of riding, we prefer to see the scenery instead of it being a blur. A few of us have ridden in other groups who are aggressive riders and that’s not for me, we just pull away from the group and went our own way, we all have families and kids to go home to so that keeps us sensible, our young days of riding like idiots are behind us.

@Motourev I understand what you say. In the end all the fun and games,goofing around, having a moment of flashback opening the throttle being 20 again . Its fun for a moment the memories of times past. But in the end there is no better feeling than coming home to the ones that are the most important in ones life. I am pushing towards 62. Had some close calls and a shit ton of luck at the same time being able to come home. It happend in my wild years being young ,dumb,life for ever days. It creates a bit of a fals memory those past days.telling the stories having a beer. Laughing about one,s self so long ago. The day of my firstborn,all that bullshit life forever etc etc went out the window. I still ride,its kinda funny and at the same time not. I am a magnet for assholes on the road. The seem to find me blindfolded. Every time a dumbass crosses my path i am smiling parking my bike being greeted by those who i love. I wil never stop riding bikes, no matter what the risks are. There is saying in the netherlands, Naarmate je ouder word verlies je je wilde haren. It has some truth to it, but i am bald and still nuts from time time. Ride safe.
