Welcome back to Dave's Wiring Vlog! It's time to figure out what each wire is supposed to do. Dave prints out an input/output report diagram from the ESP software and assigns each wire in the harness to its rightful place on the diagram. This step is super important as this is where we decide what function each wire in the harness will control. Dave then puts the wire in groups based on their functions and their location in the car.

Hi Guys, getting ready to build wiring ISO report for my S6 RX7 engine in a Rx4, can you I make up my own wiring allocation layout, i as still have wires left over I would like to use, I have a 2500elite. So how do I find and use a blank template and not a generic Map/ allocation. Not great with computers, but understand what doses what and how is works.

And also when bumpers became bars. In America they call them bumper covers! It's not covering a bumper, it's covering a crash bar...

What is the benifit of using the step motor wire rather then the normal DPO 5 for the fuel pump? All i can think of is the ability to use a positive trigger to the relay rather then a negative, but not sure on the benifits of this.

Loving the video, the tech, it's all on point, love it!. But... Ok, Honest Answer... No Avoiding it or other BS. You have put it in the video, people treating you like "the plague", avoiding you, passing shit with a broom, you telling people "Wash Your Hands" and so on. Why?. Exactly Why?. How come people are treating you like you are infected?... It's well Over The Top for the Social Distancing requirements, even at the panic moment at the start of Covid Times. WHAT GIVES?... What's the reason for such measures from such a wide spread company as Haltech?.

@@haltech as long as he isn't really sick tho... And it's just taking the piss, that's fine, I'm all about having a laugh!. He isn't exactly as "integrated" as the ol Tuning Fork, but I enjoy watching his content, I'm enjoying this series too. Not to mention that I feel vindicated when he preaches about the need to do your wiring correctly and about how important it is to ground effectively!.

@@seanohutton3185 And that wiring is only as scary as you make it. Yeah you need a few tools and know how. But it's no different to anything else we learnt how to do in cars
