You are getting very good experience in C.I. with the tidal streams there. My summer home is in Alderney now, and I am not keen on St. Peter Port or St. Helier. Beaucette Marina in Guersnsey is nice.

Nice one, bud!! Just wanted to ask, about three or four weeks ago, were you on about a 35 foot boat coming into Poole harbour? Guy with a giant beard waved across as I passed on my Contessa 28, but from a distance?? Made reference to it on a vid I've just posted and your channel if that's cool! Fair winds, buddy and hope the boat fix is going well!

3 knots is 3.45 mph. How do you get anywhere at that speed?

Slowly 😂. 80 miles a day or so. On my boat I'd passage plan at 4kts.

@@BumblingSailor Thanks for the reply. I must have been in cuckoo land when I posted that. New to sailing and just joined a club recently. Have to remind myself it's a time consuming activity. Don't think I'll make it to Dorset and back over a weekend from the Medway!! 😂 Best of luck - binge watched all your vids over the last week or so.

Yes, I find most KZbin approved music to be very irritating ! There are a small number of tracks that are OK but they have been used by just about every long term YT channel at some time and they have also become very irritating too, adding royalty free muzak to videos just to fill up the audio is a guaranteed way to make me skip ahead ! If the level is really low I will tolerate it sometimes because it's then clear the creator of the video understands their audience and is 'mindful' of what they are doing !
