Taking our 1987 Saab 900 Turbo to the Saab festival in Trollhattan, Sweden.
We are doing this trip over 12 days with multiple destinations.
In this leg we go to the Saab Museum in Trollhattan for the 2022 Saab Festival 😁
Car Spec;
1987 Saab 900
Originally an 8 valve single carb
Engine swapped to 16 valve turbo
Trionic 5.5 engine management from a '97 9000
Front mount intercooler
Full 3" exhaust
Dyno'd 220hp & 293Nm @ 1.1 bar of boost
9000 front brakes
Converted to rear handbrake
Koni red shocks
1.5" banded stock 900 steel wheels

Great video! Actually showed it to my friends as you got some real good footage, better then what I took! I was part of an Irish convoy that went over. Museum and cars were lovely but the festival overall was fairly dull

Hey guys. I just came across your channel a few days ago and I'm hooked. I love the Sweden roadtrip to the Saab festival and want to thank you for giving me back my Saab enthusiasm. I've got a 1989 900 Turbo and absolutely love it, but lost all interest / confidence after a disastrous oil change that sprayed oil in my eyes. I've only had it out once since it happened. Watching your uploads has just reignited my love and passion for what has to be one of the best cars ever designed and made. I can't wait to get it out an enjoy again. Stay safe and hopefully we'll meet on a Saab adventure one day 👌😎

Great vids guys. Random question but what phone holder are you using? Having trouble finding a good top-dash mounted one for my c900.

Thanks Henrik 😁. The dash phone holder is from Marks & Spencers, no idea if you can get them anymore. It's ok on the motorway but it'll just fall over with excessive boost 😁

What sort of power is it?

About 350 horse, it apparantly has 1 of 10 5-speed Saab sport and rally boxes, straight cut gears and no synchros. That thing was AWESOME

Ha, I do find it difficult to decide what to do with clips that maybe don't have talking in, or wind noise or maybe something that feels like it needs dubbed over. Like I've said in various other videos, I'm not a pro 😁
