I love table centrepiece and this one is a really easy one to make !
How To Make Your Own Arrangement for your Xmas Table .
An easy step by step of how to recreate this festive decor .
I saw some berries at our passion project and then this lead to me wanting to create an easy / diy table centrepiece .
I forage for greenery at the chateau .
Our beloved Cane corso that isn’t on bed rest assists me and together we go looking for holly and other greeny in the chateau’s woodland
I decided to do a simple and easy table centerpiece as i had
Oasis foam leftover
Onyx our beloved Cane corso is doing better by the day but more to follow soon .
On this episode of Bordeaux Life we see more Oprah our other lovely dog ❤️
The kids are over the moon and can't wait for Christmas Day !
We had fun filming this although a bit tricky with cheeky little Emma

WOW !!! It's lovely to see you doing something you truly love , Anna . My only real skill is with needle , thread , material and fabrics and I can lose all tract of time when I have a new creation in my mind . When I have the time ( which I do now that I'm retired - YIPPEE !!! ) I become so focused that I forget about the clock , forget to eat , etc and just thoroughly enjoy myself . It's something that isn't possible when you have a regular job to go to each day , children to raise , meals to cook , a hungry husband ( lol ) etc, etc,. It's blissful.......................but in all honesty , when I reflect on days gone by I do miss little children in the house , my fellow workers , stripping and painting a new room etc. Well , been there , luckliy got to do all that was invoved and yes , thankful for the life I've lived . Retirement is a new adventure .

Just perfect, the pink berries really made this arrangement, it sort of finished it off!! The slightly taller candle works better and is safer. This looks terrific on the wooden table as well nothing else is needed just the company, happy faces and laughter with a glass of wine, why not, self-matters. Enjoy and be happy. Regards, E :)

I forage for floral & foliage to have in my house all through the year especially in autumn and at Christmas! I also use dried fruits, old bird nests, pinecones, & such. I love bringing the outdoors into the indoors. Your arrangement is beautiful Anna❣️

It appears the conifers you are using are: flat dark green leaved pine is a hemlock while the thin spiky one is a type of spruce. I love the holly you found and can add. Imagine finding it in the woodland! Here in Canada, it only grows naturally on the West Coast and some more temperate areas like Toronto, Montreal and some of the Maritimes. Beautiful design and I love your tips on securing Oasis foam. Having worked as a florist for more than 40 years, you're doing Wunderbar !

Hi Anna-I LOVE your beautiful centre arrangement! It's going to brighten up your festive table no end. I love all the aromas of Christmas!! Here in Australia I often use native plants like the branches of Wattle and Ericaceae - (5 Corners), Tea Trees, so many greens of Gum leaves (Eucalyptus), Spider Flower grevileas, the gorgeous bold yellow Billy Buttons (sometimes called Drumstick flowers) just as examples. Apart from the aroma. I love the various shades of green, Red, yellow and pinks, Blues etc. They make lovely larger or smaller posy size displays, depending on how much room I have, and brighten up a space no end! Of course I adore roses, Lavenders, Banksia Roses, and, Bold Blue or white Agapanthus, Hydrangeas, Gardenias, Daphne, Camelias and so many more, in medium or larger arrangements. Its such fun, is very soothing and gives me so much pleasure! No matter if its flowers or a spray of leaves I simply LOVE IT! It also brings back such lovely memories of my grandmothers... Thank you for sharing your techniques and hints and tips- Its such fun sharing ideas.Just beautiful connecting over gardening ideas. Anna, when I used to work at greening hundreds of Christmas arrangements bowls (the shop used to sell over 400 per week until Christmas Eve!), my fingers and hands would get super sticky (and gloriously fragrant!) with pine sap. Now, you may say, oh, that's not an issue when you only do a single arrangement with a few conifers but when you add lots of cedar, hemlock and spruce in 3 or 6 arrangements and your tool blades get gummed up with so much sap they get too sticky to use, here's a tip: - have a tub of shortening handy or use real mayonnaise. Rub the mayo or fat into your hands really well - about 2 to 3 minutes- then add full strength dish soap and lather up without water. Once your hands are nice and greasy, run them under warm to hot water and you'll notice that the sap simply disintegrates in the fatty content! Yes, there are some products on the market for florists, but I've always found that simple, easy and readily available products from the home are more environmentally profitable.
