I'm sorry for your problems. I've been riding air cooled motorcycles since 1978 and never had a problem with cooling. In May I bought a used liquid cooled SV650 and had a cooling problem with an overheated engine after about 1000 km, probably an air pocket. The system was vented and I have had no problems since (so far 7000 km). My summer camping holiday to Harz went without problems. Good luck to you!

Thank you, It was just one of those things. I have had more Tigers than I care to remember and this was the only time I have had any sort of breakdown at all. Not even sure it was the bike, a stone chipping may have started the whole thing. The SV650 is another tried and tested bike, sounds like you were very unlucky to have a cooling problem.

Cheers, Glad you liked, you will have to watch parts 2-3 to find out what happens.

No matter what Triumph and some owners of the Tiger 900 might say, they’re no good for touring. I took my GT Pro on the NC500 and the Wild Atlantic Way, it was sold on the return from Ireland as I was quoted at around £2500 to put right all the problems that arose. Far too fragile for the job that they’re marketed to do.

@@112oxford Wow, £2500, That must have hurt. I have done loads of touring on my Tigers including the NC500 earlier this year, and I am inclined to agree with you, more fragile than people think.

What about engine heat on knees?
@TheHappyBiker9002 ай бұрын
@@thodoris3790 Hi Thodoris, I have heard loads of bikers complain about excessive heat coming from the 900 gt pro engine onto their knees. I have never experienced this and I have been to some pretty hot countries. I might be lucky or might have asbestos knees lol.
