Every time I need a nanocaron alloy farm to make a portable oxigenator, a large resource canister or an RTG, I almost cry! @@KuyaGameAstroneer only if you knew that in one of the latest sneak peaks had a very undeveloped version of trains and rails, i thinck it would be great if with got them to transport between plantes but that may be too harsh for a cumputer to load motable locations on other planets and the planet you are curanly on Edit:i may have made that sound horable makes no sense the point is that you almost guested the sneak leaked trains and rails.

@@yupeca I don't really understand the point you're trying to make there, but what I was trying to say is that sometimes planets are MUCH further away from eachother, and sometimes they're relatively close. Let me try to show you, imagine "O" being the sun, with "1" and "2" being planets: 1--O-----2 O--1-2 The distance between the two planets is DRASTICALLY different in these two scenarios while they still keep the same distance to the sun as they always had. Both of these scenarios happen quite often I reckon due to the planets orbiting out of sync. To have rails between planets you'd need to have rails that stretch to a dramatic degree in order to have them always stay connected, not to speak of needing rails that pass THROUGH the sun and other planets just to have them connected all the time. I love the idea of trains on planets, but extraplanetary rail travel is extremely unlikely.

For the half empty hydrazine you can use timers and stuff to turn the auto arm off

I believe you could use the storage sensor on the chemistry lab to turn the auto arm on or off so it isnt timing based in case of lag or multiplayer server stuff.

2:30 you could also disable output and place a hydrazine on the top but take it of just before the whole thing is emptied. Then you use just a tenth of one hydrazine

Okay in my opinion, the farms are very useful, but personally, I prefer to make smaller farms on different planets, so that way I have like, the physical goal to make it myself, keeping the game constant and stuff. Awesome video tho!

It's not that hard since you can unlock a earth centrifuge to produce basic minerals out of earth soon. You do all this with one smelter and a chemistry lab if you wish to. It's just more fun to automate things.

Graphine is a form of carbon that is barely in graphite, but it has a hexagonal shape and is very resistant to damage. If you make it into a wall somehow it would be much more powerful than steel.

I think if you automate the steel on glacio and bring titanium from there to sylva to make titanium alloy and then automate from there it will be better... Also using soil sentrefuge for organic might be better cause it will work until you need it and if you just put 2 medium soil canisters and one auto arm it will be easier to pruduce

You can do it manually. I usually place a canister in the farm and another one at the atmospheric condenser, so when the one at the farm is empty I swap them. In this way I always have an extra canister of gas ready to use

There is a way using the tapper you can make an organic, carbon and an infanite energy farm by useing 8 auto arms 8 medium tables four large table b,4 smelting furnes, 8 medium gens,and 1 extra large table c and boom almost 100ui

@@shadows2470 you will always need to bring something: soil or something in exchange if you were using the trade platform... So the max we can get bit it's a semi-automated farm. Even if you set up auto extractors, after some time they will run out of resources

@@shadows2470 yes it can be done. You'd need to store large quantities of soil and gases from other planets too, it will run for a while but you would still need to get the gases and soil from time to time

May I ask how you made such a nice smooth flat surface? I have watched your latest video about that subject but even then it won't work for me. Or do you only use leveling blocks?

If you want to get real true flat, you need to be close to a gate (the violet building) and pop a soil cube using the leveling block. Then stretch the terrain out of the cube withe the terrain tool. If you are far from the gate, it will not be "real" true flat, but you can get some decent results by using the flatten mode of your terrain tool. You need to first try to get a flat angle with the terrain tool (as flat as you can), than aim at the polygon that is flat and stretch terrain from there. Remember that the terrain tool will stretch soil out of the polygon that you are aiming at

You don't need a half full (half empty) canister of hydrazine, it can have as much as 1/10000000 filled up, and it'll still work. Just click twice quickly on the medium soil and fluid canister and you will get it, the faster you do it, the less hydrazine you use.

Actually, when you're fast, you can get a tiny bit of Hydrazine out of the dispenser. Half is excessive; you can make canisters with much smaller Hydrazine contents. Start close to the dispenser outlet and press "F" on your keyboard while quickly grabbing the canister that appears at the output. If you have done it fast enough, you should get out about 1/50 of an otherwise full canister. I use this method to stretch one hydrazine load so thin, that I can make dozens of Graphene ingots out of it. The reason for this being possible is: The chemistry lab accepts even miniscule amounts of Hydrazine as an adequate mass to produce Graphene. You can use these canisters also with autoarms, you just have to use a suboptimal setup to make it happen. Put on the Graphite first, then let a delay, that is long enough, add a hydrazine canister to it. Instant placing is not going to work, like you mentioned in the video.
