I would appreciate unfiltered feedback on my current voice. I have a condition that makes it difficult to speak, especially for longer times when doing voice-overs. I think it sounds like I'm down and choking on potatoes, but that's just my self-critique talking, so I would like to hear what you think. Do you notice anything? Thanks :)

Your voice is alright, I think most people will be invested in the craft and might not even notice.

Don't worry too much, your voice is really good! ^^ Don't over strain yourself, obviously, but it's not a problem for the quality of the video IMHO.

"Day 45 in quarantine, the glue has been running rampant in the pantry. Attempts at negotiations have failed and I have resorted to defending what remains of my oats on ice. If your glue is melting too hot/bubbling, try keeping the glue sticks in the freezer until use. ( i've had this issue myself before i got a dual heat glue gun) It stops the glue overheating and reduces 'stringy' glue bits. Also, if you have some laying around as i always seem to, silicone sealer/ bathroom caulk is great for textures and mushrooms and such instead of hot glue! ( though the 'blowing noises' made me laugh so much!) Love your crafts, this video was awesome! Dont stress about the voice!

The earthquake in the intro was the best effect of them all. Somehow other players get annoyed when I use it. What am I doing wrong?
@weezerfan12324 жыл бұрын
This is a classic mistake. To troubleshoot, try shaking more vigorously to invoke realism. Another technique is to not only shake the terrain, but the table. This is a powerful way to increase urgency and tension. If you are going for a gritty, edgy campaign, you might want to break the terrain or the figures legs of you want the effect.

Your voice is great man! It is distinctive and unique to your channel. Plus, we're all nerds here. The quality of work speaks for yourself, and it's awesome! As for these types of videos, I like them a lot. I personally don't have a lot of space to hold large terrain pieces, so demos on DIY minis and spell effects are really up my alley!

Those were all so cool looking. Your crafting is so clever because you take such simple supplies and work with very basic tools and then end up with all of these awesome final products. It's a lot more enjoyable to watch your videos because we never know what cool looking thing you're going to end up with, we just know we're going to like them. Also, our voice sounds much better to us than it does to you. Stay safe.

Awesome markers. As to the unfiltered feedback; I noticed in a few locations as well as the nasally, "i'm in a can" type echo. But I deal with sound, too. As a result, I think I'm more picky than I need to be. Overall, I think, the sound is okay and is adequate to get the job done. Keep on making videos and be well.

Your voice is fine. I enjoy your 'turn-of-phrase' [style] when you joke. The sculpting with hot glue is a craft you've mastered, when the washes go on you reveal detail that many plastic-mini designers would be jealous of [if not already stealing - I know I will] Beautiful work with such economy. GW must hate you, lol.

This was a nice video because of the multiple crafts and subjects that you created. I really liked the "mushroom" plant thing. It could be some sort of horror effect or undead tentacle monster, too. Drybrushing is such a powerful technique when used effectively. With all of your videos so far, you must be building up quite a large collection of structures, monsters, minis, and scatter terrain pieces. Are you usually the DM for your DnD games? Or do you support someone else as the dungeon master? Love the videos. Keep 'em coming. Thanks, --Bo
