That's a lot of pesto! LOL. But, where better to eat it than Genoa? You can't get more authentic than that! Everything you ate looked yummy, of course. The semifreddo interested me most because I've never had it. I've also never seen it served in a cone; I've only ever seen it as a plated dessert. I just looked at a few recipes and I might have to make some next time I have a friend over.👍 Thanks, guys, for another fun food tour! 💜💜🖤

The fresh Pesto was truly amazing but the semifreddo was indeed very surprising. A whole new experience for us. We loved it. Genoa was really foodie heaven as was Bologna (video still in the making as we speak). To those two cities we could just return for the food and vibe 🙌. Have a great weekend. Hugs from us 😘❤️

Amaretti are not Genoese, they are from Sassello, a town in the Ligurian hinterland in the province of Savona. There are still many things you have to try Genoa!

These were called Giacobbe. The salesman told us these were from Genoa 😊😉. We will definitely be back in Genoa one day. We absolutely loved this city. If you have some good food tips for us please send them to @dennis.stufr. We love that. Thanks so much ☀️👋

Not a Giacobbe. That's the firm. It's called Amaretti di Sassello which is no Genoa but a village inland of Savona,abt 30 miles away
