Dang even as *only* a 2:16 marathoner that guy Charlie throwing down sub 6:00 pace for 20+ miles in Rollinsville (and sub 6:00 for 18 at Mags a few weeks ago) is really freaking good (especially at that altitude!). Nice work though Spencer (and Cooper)...not bad for a Miler 😜!

@@andrew3491 For sure but he makes money from his videos which happen to be about running. So it could be argued that he doesn't make money from the running but rather the videos. He could upload videos that have nothing to do about running and still make money off of them. So he is a professional content maker but not a professional runner.

I get the point of the masks, but when you're outside, the exposure level is so low because of the surrounding air and wind and such. So personally, on runs you shouldn't have to wear them, they're just extra heat and annoying.

Hey guys I'm new to running, i've noticed a few youtubers pause during their runs. Whats the deal with stopping/resting for a short period during long runs or tempo runs? When is it okay to do so (if at all)? Will it affect your progress? Also, how 'easy' should I feel during long runs? Training for 10k. (Currently at 54:00 10k, 21:00 5k) Thanks!
@novon2464 жыл бұрын
It looks like a lot of them don’t carry water on their long/tempo runs. So the stops are probably to drink. It shouldn’t impact your progress as long as you don’t stop too long

Tbh masks are not needed in an outdoor space where you are running out in the open plenty of air circulating. If anything it’s when you are in a enclosed space such as a store where ppl are much closer and no air circulation. Don’t worry about it on a run. Just hold each other accountable in washing hands number one.
