No it was just him having to shift into overdrive with his manual. Gearing advantage. Nothing to do with being a coyote. They go into 5th with a 6 speed they are done. Simple as that. Was walking him till then. If that iroc had a ten speed the race would have been even uglier bottom to top

​ Agreed but many still forget that the IROC seen here is lighter than the 5.o here say minimum 300 lbs down. And it should be making close to 600 whp vs max 560 whp in this 5.0. I also must add that even a FBO E85 LT1 with CAM might find it difficult to beat this IROC

Stock for stock they are lighter yes. But we have no idea the weights of these cars. It’s very easy to get a new mustang to a lighter weight than this iroc. Either way whatever it’s all good. Both awesome cars
