You should absolutely do some kind of Sci Fi-ish campaign, like two distinct factions fighting over the dominance of a certain area (dynamic pvp campaign type thing). Been watching almost every video for the past 2 years and I can confidently say that campaigns as a whole and random/what if/surreal war scenarios are what you do best. (Love every video regardless but still, everyone has its preferences)

There's a book called "1066 And All That", written just after WW1 that goes thorugh history in a way that you might (mis)remember it. Cap's SW lore is along those lines. One such rememberance is of relevance to our American friends: "The Boston Tea-Party ONE day when George III was insane he heard that the Americans never had afternoon tea. This made him very obstinate and he invited them all to a compulsory tea-party at Boston; the Americans, however, started by pouring the tea into Boston Harbour and went on pouring things into Boston Harbour until they were quite Independent, thus causing the United States. These were also partly caused by Dick Washington who defeated the English at Bunker's Hill (`with his little mashie', as he told his father afterwards). The War with the Americans is memorable as being the only war in which the English were ever defeated, and it was unfair because the Americans had the Allies on their side. In some ways the war was really a draw, since England remained top nation and had the Allies afterwards, while the Americans, in memory of George III's madness, still refuse to drink tea and go on pouring anything the English send them to drink into Boston Harbour. After this the Americans made Wittington President and gave up speaking English and became U.S.A. and Columbia and 100%, etc. This was a Good Thing in the end, as it was a cause of the British Empire, but it prevented America from having any more History."

The Raider Corvette is a small capital ship designed for anti-fighter work but not dogfighting. In this game, I would have it act like a destroyer or frigate.

@@anathardayaldarin cannon the N-1’s were about as good as an X-wing. Both had shields, a hyperdrive (about the same rating if I recall) but only available for the Naboo self defense force

I don't consider the Battle of Hoth to be a Rebel loss. The Rebel's goal during the Battle of Hoth was to evacuate their bases. To do that, they had to hold off the Imperial landing forces long enough for this to achieved. The Imperial force's goal was to eliminate the Rebel forces or at least a majority of them. The Imperial forces fumbled by coming out of Hyperspace too fast and too close to Hoth, alerting the Rebels and giving time to raise their shields and reach defensive positions. This made it impossible for the Imperials to use their most powerful weapon, orbital bombardment. The Rebels needed to hold out long enough to get their people out. Which the did. IIRC, they got most of their people out thanks to the Ion Cannon. Yes, the Imperial forces eventually destroyed the Shield generator, but not before that happened. And that was inevitable anyway. Another point I like to make is the Battle at Yavin 4 (When the first Death Star was destroyed) The Rebel's retreated from the Yavin 4 base after that. Is that a loss for the Rebels then?

This is the stuff! Cap getting confused and flying a thumping great chungus of a vessel, while being unexpectedly effective at shooting TIE fighters. Also, it's only a *proper* Grim Reapers video if someone crashes on either takeoff or landing. Or both. Those Calamari "cruisers" really looked like they needed bigger guns. It was hard to see the tiny orange dots of their weapons fire. They got the job done, of course, but they weren't cool enough while they did it.

My updoot is for Cap to watch Eps 1-7. I don't hate him NEARLY enough to inflict Eps 8 or 9 on the man. I don't hate ANYONE that much. On the serious side, I don't mind these type of missions at all, as long as it's not TOO often. They make a nice refreshing change of taste every few months, but I wouldn't want to see much more then like, 4-6 a year.
