I’m so jealous of this. You worked so hard for that salmon and it paid off! You are such a talented chef. I always wondered about how to make fish safe for eating raw and you really educated me about that. This video had me in shock of how well you took care of that fish. This has got to be some of the best content I have ever seen with catch and cook.

@Vinh Nguyen-Mai Oh this is going to be one of those threads. Okay, I'll bite. When did I say everyone was jealous? My assumption is that a non-zero amount of people would be jealous that they are not able to have some freshly prepared delicious looking food, which I don't think is an unreasonable assumption. Doesn't it say something about your subconscious that you would contextualize a lighthearted comment about how good his Taku's food looks and turn it into a low key attack on someone character?

He was so psyched! We watched and re-watched both of your videos of the catch and the sushi platter, and followed along while breaking it down for the first time. It was awesome to be able to get such great teaching about technique as well as appreciation for the salmon. It's really inspired us to try out all the raw preparations..sushi, sashimi, poke, etc..Thanks Chef for such a great series! Look forward to diving in for more.
