For anyone having a problem with the rice paper braking up into little pieces when cutting: just soak the rice paper in pairs first and THEN cut them. That should solve the issue.

I find that you can fold it and it breaks fairly well. One sheet at a time.

If I were making a BLT, I would personally just cut it the size of your bread also. That's one of the best parts of making it yourself, no more small pieces. One large deli slice sized piece. Yummy. :)

Tried it today it was delicious, even though I have no desire whatsoever for meat of any kind. I have rice paper in my fridge as I sometimes make spring rolls. This will allow me to use it up faster after opening the package. I cooked it at a lower temp for a little longer, without liquid smoke but with smoked paprika. Made lots of sauce so poured the rest on top & didn't bother with the balsamic vinegar. On my sandwich, I started with homemade vegan pesto, tomato, "bacon" & mashed avocado (I'm out of tofu). It was quick, easy, tasty will be making more often. Ate half of the "bacon" placed the rest in the fridge for tomorrow. Thanks for sharing the recipe, I'm a fairly new subscriber just caught this video yesterday.

I had to try this immediately. Thumbs up. I loved the crunch on this. I would use it more for snacking than sandwich making though. The same marinade could have been used on thinly sliced tofu and pan fried to preferred crispness.

U can take 1 rice paper and food it in half and cut strips . Also I believe u can use a silicone brush to lather the rice papers bacon

Artistic Vegan makes a jicama bacon that's to die for. Same idea, except for jicama cut into thin strips instead of rice paper. It's more meaty than crispy. Yum! I will try your version too, because sometimes jicama that's good is hard to find.
