@kathy I’m 66, should be home to Knoxville tomorrow (17th) from Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. We were out there for 5 1/2 weeks. We ‘work camped’ building out the Fiesta South RV lot. I say that because you can do it! I would love to connect with you and help you get there maybe next year. This is an amazing experience for kids of all ages!!!

What a great video!! Love the ballons! I remember waay back in the middle 70's, we had some ballonists land in a field near our house in Belleview Fl... I think I was about 7 years old.... Me and the fam were in our house and we didn't know what that sound was, scared us all lol lol...come to find out it was a ballon landing about a block away from our home!!! It was the coolest thing ever! I had never heard one nor seen one that close up before!! I have never been on one... Always wanted to just hasn't happened yet...but now I live in Fort Lauderdale and Im 56...mabye one day!! Thanks so much for taking us, me, along with you Jenn, it was beautiful up there!!! 🙂

I would not be able to fly though because I am scared of heights lol. But the balloons are just so beautiful in color and shape. I appreciate this coverage as I didn’t attend inside the park! I did last year and it was really overwhelming with all the other folk there and I missed my dog. This year for my birthday on Sunday my dog and I sat along the bank of the Rio Grande and watched the balloons take off. After we packed up and went on a camp trip! It’s nice to watch up close coverage from the comfort of my home now that we’re back in civilization

It sure is fascinating to see! I have heard a lot of dogs bark at them! The kiddos decided to sleep in at the bus. We have to wake up at 3:45 to get over there and get to the media tent. That makes for an early day, so sometimes they choose to sleep in.

Kyle we've got all kinds of huge names here. Intel is actually right up the hill from one of the Costco's you visit, you'll notice General Mills is here too located not too far from the ballon park. Drive by at the right time and it smells amazing. Netflix, Facebook, HP...and some others I can't think of at the moment are around here as well. Awesome Jen got to go up. We observed from afar this and yesterday morning. Its so fun seeing all the little tiny dots up in the air. This morning what looked like a green dinosaur or something got pretty close to the house before my little one left for school. You guys should try to be or at least observe what it's like being chasers for the ballons that go a futher distance. Ive had several friends that did that for many years and now a few of them are pilots or still chase/crew. Glad Jen made it down safe, i heard one got caught in power lines just cant remember if it was yesterday or today.
