Thank you to everyone who let me know about my mispronunciation of Skagit Woolen Works! It's important to me to share correct information and pronunciations, so I am so sorry about getting this one wrong. Skagit is pronounced ska-juht!

Thank you for sharing all of the Washington vendors!!!! So many Flock recap videos feature dyers popular on social media only. As a Washingtonian, I could go to Flock but haven't due to my feelings on festivals and overconsumption. However it's nice to have a list of folks I can check out when I am in the market for a purchase!
@CraftyCoug5 ай бұрын
Ok I think this is why I didn't go to the market. We have SO many yarn shops in the area! But having them all together and seeing so many knitters sounds like a blast. I hope I can make it next summer 😊

Is Vermont one of your destinations on the east coast. There's many nice yarn stores I have been to. Especially if you are going to be in Albany or Lake George area. The Village yarn store in Granville is a lovely store. Then you could go to Green Mountain yarn and fiber to Bristol VT then to Shelburne VT to SaintAlbans VT. From Saint Albans you could hit the yarn stores near Waterbury to woodstock quiche gorge then to Lebenan and Claremont area yarn stores. I hope I'm able to run into you when you're on the east coast. Out of the Yarn store I've listed is the Village Yarn Store in Granville, NY is my go to because how friendly they are and the flow of the store. Including a coffee table with a wrap around couch. Under the coffee table you will find patrerns and an assortment of buttons. If you're in need of a haircut on your travel, Twisted Scissors is a good place to go to. My friend Amy is amazing at what she does. I hope to see you soon. Peggy.

Lovey video and coverage of the festival but PLEASE PLEASE learn to pronounce Skagit and Ellensburg properly!. The "g" in Skagit is pronounced as though it were a "j" as in ska juht and the city Ellensburg has an s in it. Having said that, thank you so much for appreciating Washington yarns!

I don’t attend fiber fairs in Seattle, because of the crime on the streets. The mask requirement was nuts also. Seems like people could just let that go. But it is liberal/progressive Seattle and they have no idea where they’re going.
