The first song I listened to from Epica. I was very trashy, death old school and my wife who listens to a lot of symphonic metal told me one day to listen to design your universe at the retrospect show. And I was pulverised... this group has everything I like, black, death, Simone's perfect voice with the brutality that Epica can have. They are all so talented Isacc on solo guitar is incredible, Mark has a perfect growl voice, rob on bass with his Burton cliff style who is his model, Coen on keyboards who is a real showman and who Makes the classic arrangements, and finally Arie who is for me one of the best drummers at the moment. I've seen them twice in concert and it's always nice, they are very fun in addition and adorable. In short, I've become a fan since and with Arch Enemy it's my 2 favourite bands right now 😄

Totally understandable. They are so varied in their playing. And talented. And most of all, you can feel and see that they are having fun in what they are doing on stage. This is contagious. Great Band! 🤘❤️👍
