I want to keep this clear cut, as I feel as if going any further with ranting will most likely result in being a greater turn off to those who will be bound to disagree right off the get-go for even attempting to go after someone they regularly make a martyr out of.
I rant about Varg in this video, my stance on him, and my thoughts on his inconsistencies, incoherency, misguided behavior and general hypocrisy in the face of logical facts.
I appreciate his music and his influence. Hell, even I don't mind if people have different beliefs than I...but I think too often, he takes it one too many steps further than he should. Listening to his rants for just a little bit should give you that much.
He's someone I don't believe should be supported. Admired from afar, respected for musical talent and given well deserved credit? Yes. But made out to be a savior of outsider culture? No. That is all.

Varg's music in my opinion (Burzum) is some of the most beautiful spiritual stuff out there. It always makes me long for something lost and sacred. As a whole, I feel as if I made my points very clear in terms of hypocrisy as a whole and double-standards that people hold for Christians vs. the way the Norwegians treated classical Paganism and things of that nature. If anything, I resort to name calling very briefly out of frustration of people that martyrdize artists over their music. Burzum is a wonderful project, and Varg is a fantastic musician. I'm telling people to do their own research, and not make people iconic for their own personality, but their works. It seems as if many Varg fans hold this strong belief in HIM as a person, as opposed to his music alone. Different beliefs are perfectly fine, but I would stand against anyone from any side of the spectrum for eliciting any sort of violence in the wake of pushing their beliefs.

Quite the oposite can be said if i'm being honest since you claim that Varg went with the intent to kill Euronymous wich you can't possibly know. But you said that it was very clear in this video. I don't think you're well informed about Varg or his ideology as you think you're mate. First off, I don't agree with everything Varg says (aka. we should live in the woods a simple life, marry your own nation only, go back to living a tribal life etc.) But he is by no means a neo-nazi or anything alike of that sort. He doesn't like the idea that those people get to live in European countries basically being given everything for free since they claim asylum. The only thing I never really liked about Varg was that he burned down several churches. I get that he is proud of his history and his beliefs, but you have to let others have theirs. I'm glad that he has learned from his mistakes and I hope he finds peace in what he did. As a person, Varg Vikernes doesn't get my support on that aspect, but I do admire his art even if their are beliefs that may separate a pagan and christian.
