After doing “ordinary” car washes for 48 years (!), I purely, by accident, came across your channel and decided to try a more professional approach a few months ago. I am hooked ! I use Autoglym products and the quality of cleaning finish is the best I have ever had. The fast glass product is especially brilliant. We also use it on our house windows and it is easy to use without any hint of smearing or leaving residual grease. Thank you for converting me !

Just recently started using a spray ceramic sealer on the caravan and it’s been a game changer. It’s no mean feat keeping the caravan waxed but these products help to prolong the finish and cut down a bit of the elbow grease needed! Cheers for the video Dave, always rated the Auto Glym products.

Great video Dave. Soon, I'll be breaking out the Vinyl and Rubber Care (light orange label) as it keeps the door seals soft and supple during the winter months and won't freeze onto the door-shells leading to stuck doors. The Bumper Care has been much nicer to use since AutoGlym changed the formula from green to clear, and it is more durable than some and leaves a nice finish. The star of the range, for me, is the under-rated and absolutely phenomenal big 5 litre tin of Radiant Wax Polish. I never see it ever being reviewed anywhere. It smells delicious, is very easy to apply with a good working time, and buffs off to leave a genuinely vibrant finish that really pops. It's amazing on alloy wheels, increasing the 'metal-flake' effect behind the clear coat.

Great video. I first used Autoglym Super Resin Polish in 1990 on a Merc 230E I bought that was filthy - I remember I had to wash it twice before I could even start cleaning it properly. It was the first polish I'd used where I could feel the difference in the paint. Fast Glass is great - I use it to clean the screen and plastics on my bike too.

Been using the polar snow foam for the first time this year. Does the job. Will continue to use it. Also tried the magma for the first time. Now, I was impressed with this product. The before and after results were impressive. So that’s a definite use again product.

Converted to the Polar Series System last year and never looked back. Only problem is only having one (non) Autoglym cannon. Fast Glass is also superb and gives great results on the house windows too!

I like autoglym I really do I think the products look the best on the shelf in the shops and they scream quality however I find all of their products to be watered down in most cases nothing they sell has that extra bite when you need it , I do however absolutely love polar seal , I’ve used that since starting 3 years ago and what a magic product they have in that 👏🏼

Use mostly autoglym products at my work and as a professional detailer their products are extremley good especially that apc i use it as a prewash a wheel cleaner and interior cleaner very effective.

Nice video and I use a lot of the autoglyn products. It does say to not put the polar seal on glass. I did the same as you first time round and I found it could leave a streak on glasswork.

I do like the Autoglym products, and used them exclusively when I first started cleaning/detailing my own car during COVID. But they simply don’t have the durability, performance, environmental safety or value for money of other products such as Bilt Hamber. Yes they’re nicely scented, but there’s a price to pay for that, and it’s cleaning power. (In my opinion) Great video as always though, much prefer these sort over the adventure ones. 👍

Fast Glass would be more forgiving to use in the colder months because it won't evaporate so quickly. It cuts through that dirty film very well. When it's warmer outside, I'll use your usual cost-effective and efficient 'damp towel and buff' method.

Need some help/advice I've just bought a 7 year old car that is in great condition but I'm struggling getting what seems to be an almost cloudy film off the windscreen....I've tried all the usual cleaning products for glass but nothing is even making a dent on it can you offer any tips please 🙏

It could be either smog from the interior if someone has been vaping, or still off gassing if there is a lot of vinyl on the dash. Try using glass cleaners in cooler temperatures and out of direct sunlight first of all. After that copy the method in my glass cleaning video and it will sort it

​@@epicautomotivedetailingI've cleaned the glass about 3 times inside and out even used a medium cut compound on a cloth on a small area inside and out to see if that helps and it's still the same...can only see it in sunlight hard to explain but it's like a haze...it's a model S and the windscreen has some sort of sun reflecting thing built-in so I'm wondering if it's to do with that? I like the polar range, the cannon is excellent, but it can be quite wasteful. If you don't use all of each fill of the cannon you either pour it away or you have to find something else to pour it into.

AG and turtle wax often do very good products at good prices but quite possibly get outdone by Meguairs and chemical guys - but that said I find Autofinesse products to be very good too

good bit of kit autoglym. Easy to use for someone who struggles to drum up the motivation to do a clean as its all just there laid out easy. One question though the polar seal says not to get it on the windows, but you very much got it on the windows there. Is it glass safe or did you wipe it off screen?

All foam sealants whether it's from autoglym or any manufacturer will advise against it because of the risk of wiper juddering and driver safety. For example if you sprayed it on the windscreen and left it to dry (which shouldn't be done btw) you'd end up with a baked on sealant obstructing the drivers view which ultimately could be dangerous. If you immediately rinse it off as follows and dry the car immediately you won't have any problems.And also the fast glass is there to remove it. I've had zero issues with it on the windscreen and the same goes for infinity was express sealant, yum foam + and Ava seal and shine.

Dave what’s your opinion on the fast glass compared to your preferred way with the old chami leather? I’ve used the fast glass for a while and while I do love it the smell is definatly a strong one to say the least 😂 but I do like the finish it leaves behind, I’m soon to try your method though!

This is a recommendation that all companies will always have to put on the bottle to protect themselves against any comeback for things like wipers juddering but the truth is it will have very little negative affect on the windscreen. If you get dilutions wrong and use too much product it will cause "very mild" juddering. Other than that it really won't have any impact

I have a lot of Autoglym products, and I feel that they do a good and comprehensive job. My days of trying out alternative manufacturers’ products are probably over. Excellent video,i love Autoglym products always gives me good results.A word of warning though as i have discovered Polar seal is fab stuff but not when the tempreture is going below zero as in winter time,last year i experienced this and ended up the following morning after cleaning the car day the before with my windscreen wipers in a 1 inch layer of ice and the door seals as well took ages to get it melting due to its beading properties it all collects at the bottom,so i don't advise using polar seal all over the car in winter,just my takes on this.

After watching this I’m really annoyed because I purchased the snow foam system and the bottle had no measurements on it. I even wrote to AG suggesting they should offer multiple bottles and caps with measurements enabling an easier process. Never heard anything back.

It's not smeared at all though that's the thing. Provided it rinsed off immediately and thoroughly it will be ok. I've used it on my Audi last week too and same results, We had terrible weather last week it was fine 👌 honestly it's when people use it in direct sunlight it could become an issue if left on the glass

It depends on the environment when you apply. Many glass cleaners can be a nightmare if it's sunny or hot 👌

I find that fast glass is the best product ever for cleaning glass and leaves no smears at all, whether used in sun or shade.
