Same type cooking is done in south Gujarat also. It's very famous called as UMBADIYU. winter's special veg. dish. You can get it in winter season while travelling to surat from Bombay.

We make a recipe named Popti with similar process & ingredients along with spices & covered with Bhamburdi leaves ....somewhat same like Upadi Handi❤

In Kerala we use sahyadri and refer to elephant as sahyan s son.

In Hyderabad it is called resha gosht…. Khaskhas/poppy seeds are not added but chilli powder and garam masala is added.

awesome episode.. one question that wanting to ask is what time and day did you shoot at the Mahalaxmi temple ? 'coz this is the 1st time im seeing the temple & its premises totally empty !!! believe me when i say this since i visit the temple atleast 3-4 times / year and its always super crowded at any point of day / night..

Ukad handi South gujarat k valsad dist me winters me highway pe bohot milti he, jise UBADIYU kehte he.(Jesa bataya k isme aalu etc bhi hote he) Valsad se vapi tak aapko highway pe kahi bhi mil jayegi. To shayd ye lost recipi nahi he.

मॅडम आपने जो सेकंड रेसिपी दिखाई हे उसका नाम है पोपटी और वो कोई लॉस्ट रेसिपी नही है वो जगे जगे पर आज भी बहुत ही मजेसे बनाई जाती है और बडे ही चाव से खाई जाती है महाराष्ट्र के कई भागों में खेत मे साल मे एक बार तो इसे जरूर बनाया जाता हैबनाई जाती है

@bhaktisavalekar3651 क्योंकि अब जनसंख्या इतनी बढ़ गई है कि मांसाहार के लिए गाय, बकरी और जानवरों को पालने के लिए आवश्यक संसाधन पर्यावरण को प्रदूषित कर रहे हैं। यह 1000 गुना अधिक पानी की खपत करता है और अधिक प्रदूषण करता है और फिर भी भविष्य में दुनिया की आबादी को खिलाने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं होगा। दूसरी बात यह है कि राजा लोग शिकार करते थे और कभी-कभी मांसाहार खाते थे। अब आम आदमी नियमित रूप से मांसाहार खा रहा है। इसलिए अगर आप अपने पोते-पोतियों को जीवित देखना चाहते हैं तो आपको शाकाहारी भोजन अपनाना होगा और आप अपने पूर्वजों से भी ज्यादा दयालु हो सकते हैं
