I have driven Highway 40 from one end to the other. I use to have 40 acres in Williams, Arizona. Now I live in Washington State. Love it here. I visited Colorado two years ago and realized I wouldn't want to live there. All states have something beautiful which is why we were visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.

Low range on hills, trailer brake control. Just saying, works for me. In my 70's, off roading for years. Don't know if your trailer has brakes, but that would be a great addition. Enjoy your trip.

Please let Carol know. I have used many different black iron pans in my life. I am 72. I have not had a problem with rusting between uses. Even with a long time span. After use, I wash with water, I put it on the stove with heat to dry. When the pan is dry & still warm I coat it with olive oil. This is my method and it seems to work. No rust.

Hey Pete and Carol, came across your channel couple weeks ago and immediately subscribed. Love the content and your adventures. We own a restaurant in western Newfoundland but when we slow down in a couple of years we plan on doing the same thing so in the meantime we’ll continue to watch and get ideas from you guys. If you’re back in NL again check in and come for a meal and possibly a horseback venture into the hills near our off grid property. Jim and Tina

I really enjoy your channel. I watch from Durban South Africa . When I was growing up we had an off grid, family camp in the Transkei. It was great fun to go there for our holidays and see all of our cousins. Your amazing trips really conjure up my memories of those days. I hope your youngest son enjoyed his time in Africa.

For a Canadian that lake may have been refreshing, but for a Texan that would be COLD! We just got back from Galveston and the ocean water was 91 degrees (33 celsius). Will be interesting to see how you got out of that situation next week.

Its very hot hear in the UK. Which is unusual. And i am having trouble keeping my food fresh. 12 volt freezers hear cost a fortune and they have almost no space in them at all. They are just not worth buying. I am always wondering how you do it. What on earth did you put in that egg omelet.

Peter. Uncle Dirk here. I noticed that only Carol does the cooking. I do my share of cooking at home. Do you ever take a turn? Love to watch your adventures. Hope the kids are doing fine without you. You didn’t connect with Kirk and Erika this time??
@EFRT Жыл бұрын
Hi uncle Dirk. Yes, I like to cook almost as much as Carol does. She’s definitely better at it than me, but I do make a mean curry. I should make a meal on Camera one of these days. We just spoke with the kids and they’re doing great. Hope you have a wonderful day. Hugs from us.
