It's so cool to me that Brooke Raboutou was considered to be the next big up-and-coming pro climber, and is climbing in the IFSC world cup only two years later. Definitely interesting to see how she progressed so quickly, and that "Team ABC" guessed right about her being a professional climber.

I just got into rock climbing after a gym was finally built near my house at 21. Around here soccer, baseball, football, and basketball are the main draws for kids, so very few of them got into climbing early when I was growing up. There were no indoor gyms to train for years at so anyone who started as a kid needed parents who climbed outdoor stuff and too then along.

This kid is my age, and climbs v14, a grade i've never even thought about being able to climb, ever. I also feel like i may be starting to plateau a bit. I'm pretty short at 5ft 4'. so have been doing more wide grip training and maxing out distance on campus rungs, but i still don't feel as if im progressing much, not nearly as much as i used to, any advice?
