You never cease to amaze me. I have to say you have the patience of an angel. I remember watching you make 100 little drawers, my heart bled for you. Now this, it was like watching you put a puzzle together. How I wish I could take a tour of your home just to see all the furniture pieces you have made and where they took pride of place in your home. 😲👍

Oh my goodness. I’m just breathless. That’s a paintbrush box and a pencil box and a jewelry box and a screw box and a teabag and spice box and a doojiggy-that-you-know-must-be-important box. Do you know, if you lived near and you weren’t expensive I would have a house with floor to ceiling cupboards, little quaint ladders and bookshelves all over. And small secret. You’d have to build them in front of each other as I have too many books. But my, I’ll bet it would be beautiful…..

Oh, I want to give this comment a thousand thumbs up. Somehow, I'm just sure we must be related! 😉 Especially the part about too many books ... wouldn't it be lovely to have bookcases stacked in front of one another on nearly frictionless gliding rails so they could be accessed by the merest touch of a secret panel? A girl can dream!

As i watch your videos I am in awe over the sheer labor that it takes to create fine wood furniture. Then there is the mathematic and precision you must have in order to put it all together. You make you lovely art from what you call case off, junk, or recycled wood but these creations are still heirloom furniture that should be past down from one generation to the next. I truely marvel at your skills.

While the milling processes can often seem redundant in most woodworking videos, your milling process, due in part to the way in which you source materials for your projects, and in part to the particular challenges that come along with those materials, is always fascinating, particularly to watch you solve what is essentially a unique puzzle from start to finish! Thank you for continuing to show your full process! It is a wonderful learning experience every time.

You always surprise me. The only time I recall seeing more intricate joinery work was 50 years ago when my grandfather made a nesting box for purple martins that was a scale replica of the White House. It took him the better part of a year and, when finished, was a six man job + cherry-picker truck on loan from the power company working as a crane to get into position. Yours looks a good deal more manageable. Still, it impresses me that much of your work will go unseen behind the drawers. That's true carpentry that is. 👍

@@EpicUpCycling Hi Jason, sorry to contact you this way... My daughter has got me into making furniture for her using Pallets (dad = MUG) I now have a reasonable supply of euro pallets etc. Given I have a very good compressor I am looking to explore a nail remover as de-nailing is a royal pain..... Do you use one or any recommendations please!
@EpicUpCycling
@EpicUpCycling 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Graham. I've not used one, but I've seen them used. You still have to take the pallet apart, then you use the gun to shoot the nails out of the boards. The way I usually take Euro pallets apart is to split the blocks of the pallet with a hand axe, then just de-nail with a hammer and crowbar. Never an easy job but I found it the best way to keep the boards intact. I can't remember which videos, but there's a couple of mine where I do this at the beginning

I say it all the time after watching one of ur builds bro but u are one of the most seriously talented people I've ever seen on here. Ur work puts a permanent smile on my face and I hope I can spend the last decades of my life learning to be anywhere near as good as u man. I wish I coulda found my love for woodworking decades ago when I was a young man but I'm here now and I'm going to spend the next 30 years of my life, God willing, devoting it to woodworking my friend, and it's mainly thanks to great artists like yourself that I found my passion at long last. I seemed to find myself working in dead end jobs all my life. I'm turning 50 this month and it's taken this ling to realise that I love working with wood. I love sharpening my chisels and all that stuff too. I love this passion I've developed later on in life and I fully intend on exploring it to see how good I can become now. I've always had talent but never really put it into the correct avenues but now I'm about to embark on my journey with my very own workshop and I cannot wait. Thanks for being such an inspiring person my bro. Ur work is phenomenal bro. Keep making these videos bcos they're no doubt inspiring a lot more people besides me. Of that I'm certain. Thanks my friend and SMASH THE LIKES AND SUBSCRIBE TO THIS GREAT CHANNEL all u good people watching this today. It costs us nothing to support a brilliant person and content creator like this dude. He gives us many many hours of viewing pleasure. Some of the builds have been down right astonishing when u see what he uses in the build process. heck this mans earlier videos if u haven't already folks. He's a bloody genius woodworker in my opinion and he's right brilliant at metalwork too. I've seen him make the best hinges from a flat piece of shitty looking metal but what he manages to create is simply brilliant.. Sorry for rabbiting on my friend but IU are just that good bro. I wish I could find a teacher like U man. I have also said that many times before too.. LOL. Take care and keep up the awesome work.
