I think the reason some kids don't like certain foods is because they're introduced to them the wrong way. When I first tried mushrooms, they were raw and rubbery and I hated them. So I didn't eat mushrooms for a long time. Then my dad made some a few years ago, just in the skillet with some butter, salt and pepper. And I realized I had been missing out on some good food.

gotta be honest. I live in the South, and have eaten it multiple times, it's way better if you pull all the chicken meat off first and then put it on the waffle. joshsmog thats completely different, chicken and waffles are meant as a starch with syrup and a fried piece of poultry. I don't know about you but when i make bbq chicken im making the chicken in the over or smoking it on the char outside while its marinating in the rub. Its the same with chicken, greens and cornbread. Most people don't eat the cornbread in the middle of eating the chicken and greens they use it as a dessert.
