In the last episode of third season of wwdits you can hear Laszlo playing this song on the piano when Guillermo approaches him to talk about England. Idk why but it feels really sentimental at that moment, this soft tune, Guillermo panicking about loosing his master (but most importantly a dear, dear friend), and Laszlo alone, I imagine, grieving his friend, perhaps thinking of Nadja in the most adorable, soft and loving way. As if the song were about them. As if it was a very special song in Laszlo's heart but we'll never get to know that one, it's all in the imagination. I loved that little touch in the episode, little detail like this and it already made my mind go crazy haha

No post-edit. I have never seen a recording sound like the live version of any song. I prefer recordings though some like to listen to the live version of a song.

Most of the time people's singing voice sounds different than their speaking voice. It's quite common. Also a lot of British singers sing in an American accent. As far as differences in recordings you can affect how its recorded as opposed to performing live where everything is raw and right in front. Also another thing depending on how difficult the song is to sing some singers won't sing the song in the original octave or key they recorded it in. Hope this helps.
