Loved this, thanks! Just started collecting epidendrum s and some failed and some are doing well. Now I know why! 😊 (I kept getting Trevor Noah vibes the whole video! Hahaha!!)

I just bougth some potted in 1 gallons and was hoping you were going to show how to repot a plant not a keiki. Do the purple ones do as well as the orange ones?
@thenaturecompany5 ай бұрын
You can replant the grown plant in exactly the same way . Just be sure to plant to the same depth as it was originally . I often find the purple are slightly slower and now quite as tall as the yellow . 👍

So what if you are in Southern California where it doesn’t rain for 4-5 months at a time? How often do you water then?
@thenaturecompany7 ай бұрын
it will depend on your temperatures and humidity , the higher the temps and the lower the humidity the more frequently you will need to water . If you are 30 deg C and 40% Humidity you may have to water everyday

Been growing them for years - soooooo easy and always flowering as described. Question: do you really fertilize it weekly thru out the year?

I am moving, can I take my epidendrum out of its pot and transport unpotted? I long will it last unpotted?l
@thenaturecompany2 ай бұрын
yes you can 💯just give it a good spray down and give it a good watering everyday until you repot , but they transport very easily . if it is cooler where you are you will not have to water so frequently .

I don't know whether it's "the poor man's orchid" or rather one of the easiest orchids to grow either out of doors or indoors if you don't live in warm climates.
@thenaturecompany10 ай бұрын
😘 I think that's why they call it the poor man's orchid here because it grows so easily there is a lot around so they are relatively inexpensive and we don't need to spend a lot of money on fancy environmental control systems to keep them growing .. 😍

How many times do you water those big epidendrums?? And, how many times do you fertilise them? I have one in a ceramic pot at full sun and i do not water it, but it is not doing good, can you help me? Thank you
@thenaturecompany9 ай бұрын
If your humidity levels are low then you will have to be sure to water regularly ... feeding once a week with an organic liquid fertilizer seems to work very well for me for foliar feeding . If you have a little more detail like temperatures etc I might be able to help you more specifically 👍
