I really enjoyed this with the "new to Glorantha"/"new to RuneQuest" pointers/helps. I really helps me learn this "new to me" world. And for those that do not have the Starter Set, there is an AWSOME set of amber colored die that are gorgeous. (In my opinion.)

A great introduction (as I try get my head around the rules) especially explanation of different ways to augment skill and ability rolls. A tiny part of me hoped for some combat so I can see the rating system in action, but I'm sure that'll come in time!!

How come they see horizon in the world of Glorantha, wich is flat? 🤔

Science: in Glorantha, Light doesn't travel in straight lines: like Fire, is a manifestation of Aether and thus properly belongs in the Sky World. The elements always seek their own proper level in the bubble that is Glorantha, thus light tends to curve upward slightly as it flits along at a great pace. This is why you see the top of a mast as a ship approaches, then the sails, then the body.

@@nibydysk1690 Given that Glorantha looks "Earth-like", but clearly isn't, I think it is even more Maximum Game Fun that a flat world appears to have a horizon analogous to our own, and come up with mythic = scientific explanations as to why that is so. Other questions to answer for a flat world that do not have prosaic terrestrial answers: why Glorantha has "gravity", how does Glorantha have an atmosphere, why is the sky blue, etc etc.
