My name is Kevin Wilson. I am the BMX hunter. I
hunt down old BMX bikes and save them for
posterity. I collect, buy, and sell anything &
everything BMX related. I particularly enjoy the old
crusty bikes. The rustier the better.
l also tell BMX stories about myself and other

I grew up in Yuma, AZ. When I was about 12 years old, Dustin Drum from the Diamondback factory team moved into a house about 2 miles away. I remember being introduced to him by a friend at his house. He took us into his garage and showed us all of his bikes. He had a custom made, chrome LRV and a JMC that were both set up with 1-3/8, flight cranks, pro bars…It’s the first time I remember feeling envy. I also remember peddling my depressed ass home on my Schwinn Predator with giant rims and tires. 😂

Why would you ever want to purchase a JMC...Just to sell it? If you are buying a JMC nowadays...you should be looking to keep the bike! No doubt!!! Your lucky to even have one buddy!

Yes, I bought the bike to piece it out and sell it. That is what I used to do. However, I did keep it for a couple months. Plus, I thought the story would make a good video. As far as luck goes, I did pay $4,500 for it. Thanks for the comment.

Why doesn't the frame have elecptical tubing every thing Harry leary rode did and was white? Forks also.

JMC switched to round down tubing in '82 or '83 I believe. Frames were available in Red, White, Blue, Black and Chrome from the factory.

During Harry Leary's time in JMC late 70s they used elliptical tubing. By 1983 all JMC tubes were round.
