I have left comments for you before and in poor taste in hindsight, I think what your channel teaches us is a gift of sorts to anyone personally invested in the faith, in my case I recently had a very intense and frightening personal experience that I have interpreted as both a particularly severe crisis of faith where my ego let me call myself "Alevi" as someone completely outside the faith and culture, however, for my sake and for global alevism's sake I am compelled to a compromise where I would like to ask a leader in my country for ahit in exchange for my practicing in private a variant specifically for my own culture with nothing stolen or compromised, if you think you could be of help, I respectfully ask that someone else please respond to this comment privately. This video has been made for someone who has very basic knowledge on Alevism. But for someone who knows absolutely nothing about the religion it is not very understandable. For instance, What is "Hakk" ? or what does it mean "becoming one with Hakk". These are the most important questions that need to be answered FIRST when trying to explain what is Alevism to someone who has absolutely no clue about it. Only afterwards the 4 gates 40 steps concept should be explained.

I don't want to offend anyone but Alevism to me seems like a reformed version of Islam(I know there's way more to it then that, but I'm talking the visual aspect). You look at an Alevi service and there's WOMEN and men together, singing and moving, there's so much happiness radiating off of it!! People need to spread more info on Alevism. So awesome. You look at a typical Friday at a Mosque and everyone is so serious, almost to the point they look angry or unhappy. God wants us to be relaxed and happy. I bet Muhammed,(PBUH) was smiling and happy during prayer.

It seems more anti-Islam. The prophet Mohammed stated just before his death that the religion is complete now and Allah stated this in 5:3. Nothing in those 4 minutes that I just watched has anything to do with what Allah has taught us… It’s fine if you want to believe this, but don’t attach/connect it to Islam.

No Idolating... Alevi practice Islam too, but not the old way of Sunnah, and also not the reformed way of Muawiya's Sunnah mixed with Islam too, Sunnism is not Islam, Mohammed was given a death sentence for going against the old way, he had to flee Mecca to Medina after trying to give women their rights etc.. Mohammed said "I am Ali and Ali is me, we are one of the same, he who follows me follows Ali" and so Ali was his successor, the first Apostle of Islam, but the Sunni rejected him and the 12 Apostles.. it's not about "Worshiping Ali", it's about following through with the Instructions.. Originally Mohammed had promised his aunt when she was pregnant that her son will be Apostle, but she had to first earn it by showing strength, she was challenged to a wrestle, she managed to win, and so Ali would be strong too, worthy of being Apostle.. In "Battle of the Camel", Ali with 200 men fought a battle against Muawiya who had 800 Men, 300 of which retreated, and of the remaining 500 a few hundred switched sides, Ali was able to sword fight 17 men at a time, their blood would splatter on his face, and when he would wipe his eyelids, it would look like he was wearing a red bandana on his forehead (That's where the term "Red Forehead Rebels" come from later on during the Sunni /Shia division) Ali and Muawiya were left one on one, 2 generals challenged to duel... Ali was victorious, as if a "courageous lion" had possessed him... But right before the final death blow, Muawiya spat into Ali's eye, and had it been a weapon, Ali would be dead, so Muawiya earned the right to live and Ali forgave Muawiya for the crimes against Muslims Sunnis and Muslims united as one... 3 Kharjite brothers (the bad guys from the children story "Ali Baba and the 40 thieves") Plotted to Assassinate Ali, Muawiya, and Abbas (Ali's little Favorite son from his 2nd wife out of 9 wives that he had), though Abbas was never in line to become an Apostle.. The first brother took out Ali, then Muawiya knew that he was next, and so attacked the Khajites in advance, he was victorious, but he couldn't kill them, he allowed them the right to live as Ali had done for him, he convinced the brothers to convert to new reformed Sunni & Islam combo.. Afterwards the rest is history, Muawiya convinces 2nd Apostle (Ali's son Hasan)s wife to poison him through food in order to marry Muawiya's son Yazeed, she does, but Muawiya lied and she got scammed, then Muawiya's son Yazid orders that 3rd Aposle (Ali's son Hussein) be taken out, General Omar writes a fake letter saying that his people accept Hussein as Apostle, come take the Caliphate etc, Hussein with half brother Abbas get ambushed in Iraq, Hussein asks for water (Like Peter and Jesus etc) but Omar refuses, he chops off Abbas's hands at the wrists while Hussein watches, then with remaining energy Abbas clamps camel hide water bottle between wrists and brings water to his big brother Hussein, then Omar makes Abbas watch as he beheads Hussein.. For this reason All Muslims including Sunni Branches hate the Yazidi tribe, they went too far, it unites Muslims except for Saudi, they still use the name "Yazeed" on their newborns, it is like calling someone Adolf Hitler, and a Nazi, very offensive.. but the west supports Saudi and the Yazidi.. Hussein's head was carried on a sword tip from Iraq to the gates of Egypt all covered in flies, the people Cheered! with Glee The Alevi were originally converted to Sunni Islam, but later they learned the truths, and accepted the Shia path, Alevi = Flame, fire is the symbol of righteousness, stay on the right path and don't anger that force and end up burning (hell etc)

All I want to know is what Alevi’s believe in, like do they consider themselves Muslim or not? If so do they identify as Shia? Do they accept prophet Muhammad as the last messenger etc? I can’t find consistent or clear answers for any of these.
@ardaaslan1923
@ardaaslan1923 3 жыл бұрын
Why can't you find tho? You can just google the term "Alevism" and check wikipedia for "consistent and clear answers". There is a well written article on there. This video and channel is spreading fake Alevism which is full of contradictions. This view is the byproduct of the last 40 years' leftist political movement. We call them "the so called Alevis" as they are Alevis only in name but not in reality.
@azmhyr
@azmhyr 2 жыл бұрын
They do not. Alevis are not Muslims, and will never be Muslims. They're using our Muslim religion as a cover for their heterodox, confused doctrines, who have no tangible consistency. For example, a Muslim has a basic understanding of what it means to be a Muslim, while the Alevi have different understandings wherever you go. One Alevi priest will not give you the same answer as another Alevi priest.

@@Efendi_Bass I already know what the answer is as I said Alevism is part of Islam it just has a different path. Not true you cant learn to become a pir or dede you can only be born as pir or dede. Alevis cornerstone is the welaya of Ali (afther death of Mohammed ali was the legitimate succesor as head of all moslims) and the esoteric (Batini) explanation (tavil) of the Qoran. Alawites don't need the hypocritical worship of wild arabien tribes, that has no value in life, does not create any love or beauty in daily life, in your trade, in your neighborhood, in your friendship. After the death of Prophet Muhammad the administration passed into the hands of the insidious merchant tribes of Mekka, who had been hypocritical Muslims until that day. The killings of prophet,s family is the reason for the separation of Alawites from Sunnis, which began with the brutal murder of grandsons Hussein and Hasan, continuing through the history against their descendants from generation to generation. The spiritual leaders of the Turks, who nationalized Alevism in Anatolia, who live, live and teach love, compassion, knowledge, sharing, tolerance and justice, saw in Mecca, Medina, Iraq, and Syria that oppression could come to power by praying, fasting and going on Hajj. Its therefore, why the first Turks in Anatolien werent obsessed to the arabic hypocratic worship. In other words, those blind and deaf Sunni scholars, who are never missing from the screen, cannot comprehend the belief, saying, " IF YOU BROKE A HEART ONCE, YOUR PRAYER, YOUR FASTING HAS NO VALUE IN THE EYES OF GOD!" Anatolian Islamic Philosophy, with its living name Alevism, transformed the Ottoman state into an Empire after the Seljuks. After Yavuz Sultan Selim took Egypt and became the Caliph of the Muslims, rulers of Sunni Islam came to power with the enmity of the Prophet Muhammad,s descendents. Alawites have been struggling to survive until now. The Alevism teaching, whose madrasas, Dervish lodges were closed ,its light was turned off, wanted to be erased and made forgotten. Alevis, whose Dervishs, Sayyids and Serifs were hanged, burned, skinned and exiled, have been living under oppression in their own homeland, in the state they founded, for 500 years. A philosophy, belief, and teaching of life without a school and a teacher naturally has no equivalent in life. Alevis, who were left without a religious leader, school and without teaching, whose books, instruments and even themselves were burned, have lost their identity today, cannot explain or describe their beliefs, and have been made without an orbit. At the end of all that has happened, those who say they are Serif or Sayyid today, who are Dervish, are unfortunately not competent to describe Alevism or to convey it to those who want to learn it. (Descendants of Hz. Hasan are called Serif, and descendants of Hz. Hüseyin are called Sayyids.) Although it is a historical crime that they should be ashamed of, this situation has become the fun of Sunni rulers and clergy today. Accusing them with contempting statements like "your confession, your religion, what you believe to, is not clear", they make fun of the contemptible expressions. However, Alevism is the leaven for the Seljuks to be the state and the Ottomans to be the empire. When the Ottoman became hostile to the Justice, it has perished, just as every state that is hostile to justice is doomed to perish. The most important military power of the Ottoman Empire, the Janissaries, are the soldiers trained by Alevi families, dervish lodges in Anatolia. All Janissaries are attached to a Dervish lodge. At the head of the Turkish raiders, who grew up by taking Anatolia and the Balkans under their rule, were their spiritual leaders called Dervish Baba. Today, there are the tombs of these Dervishs, who were martyred during the wars and conquests in Anatolia and the Balkans.Evliyas, who have mausoleums and pilgrimage sites in Dersim, such as Baba Mansur, Sari Saltuk, Duzgun Baba, Seyit Hidir, are among these pioneers. The Ottoman Empire, which continues as a Republic today, has been destroying Alevism intellectually and physically for centuries. Because Sunni Islam is the enemy of God, Justice, Reason and Conscience, they live in exclusion.Ever since the massacres of Yavuz Sultan Selim, the Alevis, especially the people of Dersim, who have always tasted the enmity of the Sultans, the Fatwaists of the Devil, the Shaykh al-Islams, live today as crushed, scattered, shattered and excluded. Alawites may have been left without a memory, without a trace, without a direction, but this is still a thousand times better than the hypocritical piety that obeys all kinds of oppression, keeps silent, shares in interest, and breathes interest. First, Sunnis should define their beliefs honestly by looking at the life they live, "What are we?" If you want to know, "What is Alawism?, let me give you a short answer, "Alevism is to live with the voice of conscience." They do not pray, do not attend Ramadan, do not go on pilgrimage, but they never remain silent in the face of injustice, do not become partners in persecution, do not step over the weak of the poor, do not applaud the tyrants, That's why they have to suffer under thousands of years of hostility. Endless love to the Alevis, whose words are beautiful, whose heart is beautiful, whose mind is beautiful, whose essence is beautiful, and to everyone who spreads and keeps this belief alive through music, writing and cinema. Live obeying your conscience dear friends.
